Great value, comfortable accommodationWe booked a 3 bed family room for one night and were really pleased with the room. Based in the attic up steep stairs, the room was beautifully presented, very clean and spacious. Plenty of spare pillows, toiletries, bottled water, biscuits and tea/coffee available. Room had three desks and really comfortable chairs and still plenty of room to walk around. Plug sockets galore throughout the room. We did not hear any noise at all from other guest rooms. The check in and service during our stay was extremely welcoming and yet discreet at the same time. We were visiting family friend locally so did not use the restaurant which smelled beautiful, however we did make use of the bar on our return home later in the evening. Plenty of parking space available behind the hotel. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Pleasantly surprisedWas traveling to Kenilworth for a meeting so decided to book The Peacock as it was close by. First impressions were good, friendly welcome by Jay at reception, clean interior and a quiet room at the top of the hotel. The room was large with an on suite, tea/coffee facilities, TV and was warm. Towels and bed linen were spotless. The hotel is on the mail street and beside shops, pubs and restaurants. I ate out but instantly regretted that decision as when I arrived back the dining room was busy and the aroma of the food wafting out was amazing. I slept very well and had a very good vegetarian breakfast the next morning. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay here again.

Weekend visitThe building is showing it's age and much of our family room was dated, especially the bathroom. The stairs were creaking and noisy when other guests moved about. Raffles restaurant is very good and evening meal and breakfast was tasty and good quality well presented. Good size parking at rear.

Family room and doubleHotel is in a good location in Kenilworth, however parking was a challenge as first come first served The family room was ok but the double was tiny- one side of the bed hard against the wall and about two foot the other. Not really the size of a double room at all. Both rooms at the top of the house up stairs that would be challenging for some. Decor very dated and looked pretty tired . Breakfast was good and the staff lovely, however, overall the hotel was only ok and was very expensive for what it was. I try and book something local thats not a generic ibis or travelodge etc, but this was disappointing and I wish we had saved money and gone somewhere else!

Very quiet but niceFriendly staff, decor fitting to the type of restaurant and food served with the care and attention you expect from a small Malaysian restaurant. We opted for the 3 courses at £23:50 each. Used our diner cards so BOGOF. Couldnt fault the food. But wine was £5:95 a glass. Car park is a little small not sure where youd park if the restaurant was busy?
