  Great staff---needs cleaning

  Staff at check in very, very nice and helpful--so was the very wonderful lady in the breakfast room (and she was very good with her cleaning abilities) This hotel needs to hire someone to clean----check out sheets--I had huge brown stain on bottom sheet so slept ontop of top sheet. Coffee maker did not work and bathtub facet leaking water constantly---such a waste. We were very tired and Big Spring doesn't have a lot of choices.

  Unhappy traveler

  My husband and I are traveling from Tucson back to San Antonio, and decided to stop for the night at this Best Western; we usually stay at Best Westerns when we travel because we are Members. The room was ok except for the sheets ; thank goodness I always bring my own pillows and blanket. My big complaint is the price gouging at this particular location because, apparently, its an oil town - as told to me by Milan. When my husband checked us in, he said it was $104, which was more than we wanted to pay but we were exhausted, so we stayed. On our way out, we see we were charged $151; needless to say I was very upset, we NEVER would have paid that much for a few hours of sleep! When I called to find out why it was so much and why we didnt get our receipt that was supposed to be put under our door, I spoke to a gentleman (I use that term loosely) named Milan; he argued about the cost, saying it was 139 +tax, and how we got a generous 10% 0ff. He was rude, argumentative, and clearly doesnt care about customer service! I told him that this experience makes me not want to stay at Best Westerns in the future...he responded by saying he didnt care if I ever stayed at Best Westerns again. So, if youre traveling through Big Spring, Tx DO NOT stay at this hotel; unless, you have money to blow and dont mind rudeness by Milan the mgr. who thinks its ok to gouge the oil workers and travelers .   Great evening desk clerk

  Lobby is open ,Hot breakfast is served. Breakfast lady very nice and helpful. Evening desk clerk extremely polite and helpful. First floor room with 2 queen beds, though they seemed a little narrower than regular queens. Room was clean with newer furnishings and sink/faucet but tub is old and tub walls need rejuvinating. Carpet seemed dated and spotted in places.

  Service

  I arrived at Best Western approximately 1:00 A.M. Monday morning. I had an appointment to preach a funeral at 10:00 A.M. When we got up to take a shower early Monday morning, the fixture was broken that turned on the water on in the bathtub. We had to put in a service which was stressful prior to the funeral. It got fixed but caused a huge delay. We also had to send the same service person over to the other room I had rented due to unable to turn fixture on to release water. That was a minor fix, however the water would not recede.

  Disappointing front desk help and room

  Really disappointing experience with this location. I'm diamond rewards level which gets you a room upgrade so I inquired about getting a king room and getting it upgraded to a whirlpool room, the front desk just seemed clueless about this so whatever I just went ahead and paid for the whirlpool. Get to the room, late at night after being on the road for 12 hrs, run water in the whirlpool and the jets don't even work. I brought up these issues through the after stay survey and got a copy paste letter about covid practices having nothing to do with my issues. Atleast refund me the difference between a whirlpool and standard king room.
