The General Manager should be FiredI had to cancel my reservation 45 minutes after making it. The front desk gave me 3 different excuses as to why they couldn't cancel any reservations and said to call when their General Manager was there M-F 8-5. Called 9 times and left my information. I asked if the general manager was there each time and the front desk made snide comments about their GMs lack of punctuality & availability, including one who LAUGHED when I asked when to expect a call back. When Carol the GM bothered to come to work and return a phone call, she was rude and said she they have a 24 hour cancellation policy (even if you make the reservation the same day.. which makes ZERO SINCE and her Front desk staff even said that wasn't true). I informed her that we had a family death and had to cancel and her response was "Well that Sucks". The General Manager is a joke. I have been a Hilton Member for years and THIS is exactly why. I will never stay at a BW property ever again. Absolutely DISGUSTING behavior.

Trivia Mic andthe RnR PartyExcellent place to stay in Nacogdoches. very pleasant and quiet. Breakfast tasted good but needs more variety. Pleasant curteous staff with great customer service. Easy access to events and meetings. Good cable tv service.

Fabulous placeOffice staff was friendly and welcoming and enjoys her job. Lobby clean and neat. Our room has laminate flooring which I loved. Exceptionally clean and nicely furnished and accessory. A super deal at $65. Walked over to Smokehouse for dinner. Quiet safe neighborhood. Easy exit off expressway.

Bad StayBased on my experience here, I have no idea how peope can give this place a good rating. First, the good - the price is very reasonable. Check-in was quick. The room was clean and the wi-fi was relatively fast and reliable. Now the bad that I experienced - the weather was pretty hot and the A/C couldn't keep the room cool. Also, it was very noisy and the front plastic piece was loose and loudly vibrated until I pushed it in the holding clips. The toilet was not firmly anchored to the floor. It wobbled when you sat on it. Two of the ice machines didn't work at all and the one that did work had black mold all in it. The bed was soft and jiggly and neither my wife nor I slept well on it. And now the unforgivable - because of Covid-19, the breakfast was a little something in a lunch bag, so we decided to go to a local cafe for breakfast. We left at 8:25 and returned at 9:20 to find our room door was standing wide open with our luggage and other belongings in full view. Running in, we found a cleaning lady was out of sight in the bathroom cleaning the tub. We had not checked out yet (check out was the normal 11:00am) and with the door open, anyone could have just walked in and out with our things. When I asked the cleaner why she was cleaning our room when we hadn't checked out yet, she replied in Spanish with a confused look on her face. She didn't speak English and I barely know a few words in Spanish so with the few words I know and hand gestures, we got her to leave. After loading our stuff in the car, I went to check out and complain to the front desk person. In a calm voice, I told her I wasn't happy with the situation and she replied in a very unconcerned voice, "I don't know who that was. I'll let housekeeping know." She then turned away from me and started doing something else on the desk. This is an older motel-type facility where you park your car in front of your door. With the problems I encountered and the attitude of the staff, I'm thinking it's time for Best Western to remove its name from this establishment.

Hotel from hellThe staff was very rude the manager at the front desk would curse you out they never offered to clean the room thru out the whole stay if you asked for a blanket or towels you didnt receive them they didnt even attempt to collect the trash you where responsible for cleaning up your room you had to go and ask for toilet paper when ever you ran out because they didnt respond to your phone calls or bring you any other amenities that they where supposed to offer it said free breakfast but they had none where told they stop serving breakfast because of the pandemic and they had a sign that said you have to clean your on room
