  Mahoney's Motor Inn - Close to Airport and City

  The owner/manager is always friendly and does his best to ensure a pleasant stay - as does his staff. It is close to both Airport and City which makes it a good place. Restaurant is good and meals are good. It is good for business travellers and would stay there on business trips due to the location, staff and restaurant.

  Careless and appalling customer service

  I booked a 2 night stay to attend a family function close by. I arrived following a overnight flight to be told there was no booking (despite my online confirmation) and the hotel was now fully booked. After a phone call it appears my booking was incorrectly added to their system for the month prior, as I was asked if I had stayed the month before! The solution offered to me was to just cancel the booking. No apology was offered, no alternative suggestions for accommodation was offered, I was basically left to fend for myself.

  Good experience

  Clean rooms, close to the airport and convenient transportation, there is a bus station in front of the motel. Good network, enough for office needs. The people at the front desk were very welcoming. I had breakfast at the motel and it tasted good with lots of choices. Check-in and check-out are fast and do not waste time on procedures.

  planned stay

  since our last stay we found that it had new management, manager was friendly and listened with detail. stayed in a different room this time, bed and shower was fine and no complaints. Had a couple of late night and early morning disturbances from people that had no respect for others staying there, complained but the horse had already bolted. Parking was hit and miss with others parking and taking up 2 parks without care for others staying there. Would I stay there again !! possibly??

  Dodgeville - Do Not Stay Here

  Terrible experience. Bloke at check in wouldn't let me in to office because of covid19 but took my licence out of my sight to get details off it. I was not comfortable about this. Room had overpowering perfumed odour which we assumed was to cover another odour. Smoke detector was missing. People in nearby rooms had other people coming and going at regular intervals. Some were making a lot of noise for most of the night. Will never stay here again.
