  A typical American motel but lacking China's charm

  Unlike its cross town rival Howard Johnson who reinvented itself into a 5-star hotel, this Best Western is exactly like a 2- or 3- star American motel. The hotel room is small and dingy. The LCD TV is a size of a laptop screen. The room price contains 2 free breakfasts. But the hotel won't give it to me because I checked in by myself. When my friend joined me for the breakfast, he was asked to pay for It. I saw similar compaints from other guests on Ctrip. I want to point it out because it never happen to me in any other hotels. Besides, it is not cheap either with its quality. You can certainly find a better deal in aonther local 4-star hotels with the same price.

  better Than Average But Good Location

  Better than average budget hotel in good location on the same block as Sheraton... busy local scene for exploring... a Starbucks down the street beside Sheraton... same street has an excellent Irish pub (open late, maybe 2am) and ample simple Chinese restaurants nearby! Rooms OK and friendly staff.

  Pleasant City-Centre Hotel

  This was my second one-night stay in this hotel, albeit 3 years apart. It remains a comfortable and pleasant hotel, if not the newest, with a central location that is good for the many restaurants and bars in town, although the famous O'Reilly's Pub is 5-minutes' walk away. The rooms have toiletries and wired wi-fi (not in the same place, of course), bu the bathroom was definitely 3*. The breakfast is very good, offering a wide choice of local and international fare (even dessert cake, oddly). Parking outside is very limited and the attendant is discerning. Ningbo has many other big-name hotels now, but this remains a good choice.

  Great Value

  Stay here for almost all my Ningbo business trips, rooms are quite standard, but staffs are always friendly. One thing I noticed though was that air conditioning seems to be centralized controlled by the hotel floor instead of the thermometer in the room, not sure if they ever upgraded that, didn't bother me much though

  Very pleasant hotel, con really be recommended!

  From Highspeed trainstation by subway on Line 2 two stops, change at Gulou to Line1, another two stops and get off at Jiangxia Bridge East on exit C, walk to the traffic light and on your right you'll see this newly renovated Hotel named now "Hotel Holiyacht Kylie". This hotel is relatively centrally located and offers a very good accommodation: Very clean, great breakfast, also dinner if you want. You will enjoy your stay - we did.
