  Nice stay

  It was a short Christmas Market weekend, and we enjoyed our stay. Staff really friendly, rooms clean and welcoming. We had a triple, room was cosy but comfortable.Hotel is a bit far from Braunschweig, but a good alternative.

  Not the best experience

  I had great expectation based on the info and the pictures from the web site. At first sight, reception area looks a bit caotic. The lift needs urgently to be refirbished. The first room I got had problems to the electric wires (no power on many plugs and lights) so second day they offered me another room. This was a bit better furnished but still very small if compared with the pictures you can see. Sauna was out of order for the whole staying (4 nights). wifi with low signal. Restaurant close at 20:00 (!!!). I asked for a seat at 19:45 but no way to dinner. Crazy also because you are not in the city so the alternative offers are very limited. The receptionist on duty at the check-in and check-out (same person) was very professional and understanding but couldn't solve everything. Pity because I believe it was a great hotel, in the good old days. With minor efforts it can be worth again.

  Good hotel for winter - not so good for summer

  I was visiting the hotel during my business trip. The hotel is located in the quiet sorrounding - so for sure this is one of it's assets. There is a Greece restaurant about 500m from the Hotel where you may eat a really tasty dishes. The hotel is clean and the staff is pleasant. The main weakness of this hotel in my opinion is the lack of the air condition - so during the summer months it may be really unconvenient experience. To be honest there are rooms which have the air condition but in my opinion there is only few of them and you may have a luck to have one. Another inconvenience during my last visit was the lack of WiFi - I don't know what the problem was because previously internet was working fine. The food and beer in the hotel are delicions and staff is really helpfull. As the summary I would recommend this hotel for entire year EXCEPT the summer time when the temperature is high and the lack of the aircondition may be a huge problem for you.

  Good and then very Bad - Marie Celeste at breakfast time.

  We arrived and found out that the hotel had a BBQ event and a live band so we decided to partake of this offer. The night went very well a great selection of food and superb service with the manageress on hand to ensure the evening ran well. The next morning however..we came down to breakfast, dirty uncleared tables with no staff to be seen anywhere. Very little hot food, our selections were scrambled eggs or boiled eggs plus a little patty thing, No milk for breakfast cereals or tea or coffee. Lots of kids complaining to their parents about the lack of milk and butter. We went to reception and there was no one there, we had to go to the rear reception entrance to find a young girl who told us all the staff were busy. Eventually after complaining 2-3 staff did turn up but too little too late ques at the coffee machine once the milk had arrived. we left and found motorway services were we purchased our breakfast. For this price, very poor Best Western. I suspect once the manger disappeared the staff stopped working.

  A week close to Hannover

  Good hotel not so far away from HAnnover. Checking and checkout is quick. Hotel and room is clean. Nice breakfast with a lot of choice. Area is silent and allows a good rest. Buffet available for dinner.
