  Many Hilton properties, including this one, are still promoting a free hot breakfast on their websites. You have to read the fine print that says some changes in amenities may be made due to Covid. What they don't tell you is that you"ll gett tv a paper sack with a mushy apple, a bottle of water, some inedible breakfast bar, a random flavored mini muffin and a 4oz carton of OJ. Thanks a bunch! How about a pre-packaged breakfast sandwich or burrito, or oatmeal? All rooms have microwaves. How about a $5 gift card to McDonalds? To add insult to injury, this hotel removed all in room coffee makers. Several weeks ago according to the front desk clerk.????

  One night stay, good enough

  Stay there for one night. A old Route 66 town. Normal hotel and people there are Covid cautious, which is good. Clean room. The breakfast includes: one muffin, one apple, one bottle of water, one small orange juice and coffee. For me, its enough, for others, Id say its more like a bite than breakfast. Nearby a Mexican restaurant, called virgies restaurant, its very delicious, recommended.

  Travel

  Employees were friendly. Clean rooms. Ordered pizza from Pizza9 excellent. Delivered it right to our room. Hotel was right off highway I40 easy on easy off. Employees were extremely good about the mask mandate.

  Travel during covid

  Older property but ok. Appeared clean although normal cleaning stickers not on doors and remote not in any type of wrap. Internet was slow. Due to covid (not properties fault) all amenities were closed but a pool, hot tub, fitness room, laundry are present on site. Breakfast consisted of a bag with juice, a muffin, granola bar, fresh apple and you can ask for coffee or tea. This being said, the price was below what one would expect to pay. Good location and since we were just passing through it met our needs.

  Sorely Disappointed

  We pretty much stay exclusively in Hamptons (Hilton) all across the country. This Hampton is well below their standard. Inadequate parking, 2 vehicles were blocking drive thru entrance so neither we (arriving) or a pizza delivery car could pull up/thru. Room basically clean. Appears $$ were an issue here - elevator so small only 2 people & 1 suitcase fits, small TV, king bed but rest of furniture is crammed into room. Soap is tiny, enough for maybe 2 uses). Tub is short & narrow in size (not standard). Shower curtain was NOT fresh as when pulled it back to step out, a slimy red substance was on the inside next to the tub side. For being so Covid strict downstairs (bathrooms closed, bkfst area roped off w/ 'crime tape'), face mask required signs all over the place, front desk partition installed, pool closed; however, the room didn't show ANY obvious protections. Every Hampton on our recent 3 wk trip (even elsewhere in AZ) has had 'clean seal' stickers on the door entering room, the TV control has had a 'sanitized' wrap on it, each also has had sanitized wipes in single pack on cabinet. I honestly wondered if our room had been cleaned thoroughly. None of these protections were evident here. Protections for staff but certainly not for the guests. Would definately go to the other Hampton in Gallup next time.
