Needs a refresh; too $$$ for worn down roomWe choose this BW due to its claim that it's a favorite of parents coming to Tallahassee for Florida State Univ events. Hmmm. Staff was friendly/accommodating, location is quieter than many roadside hotels, but the place is simply worn and in need of a refresh. Interior lighting is dim, and rooms are at the point that you can't distinguish between "dirty" or "old." It was overpriced for the condition of the room.

Worst night in a hotel everAfter reading some good reviews about this hotel, we booked it on Christmas night. The front desk lady had no mask on in the middle of a pandemic. The temp was less than 30 degrees that night and we were given a room with a non working heater, which we found later also had a sock jammed in it. I saw some black fabric protruding from the unit and when I investigated, I found it was someones sock. Disgusting. We had unloaded everything (traveling across country so we brought in a lot of stuff we didnt feel safe leaving in the car) and were exhausted and we hoped the room would eventually warm up. Thats why we didnt try to switch rooms. It didnt warm up. Also, the toilet ran the entire time we were there and after we had been there an hour or so, a red/brown liquid began oozing onto the back of the toilet seat from around the bolt area where the seat attaches to the toilet. My husband wiped it off and it just kept reappearing. Also there were beverage rings on furniture surfaces, which came off easily with a disinfecting wipe, proving that room had not been wiped down before we checked in. I cant believe we paid $85 for this. I will think twice about Best Western in the future.

A Great Time With familyI got with my family at a great Best Western in Cairo, Georgia. I was visiting from New Jersey with my 2 sons. It gave them a chance to see family in Georgia and those visiting form other places with great social distancing because this Best Wester had room entrance from the outside which made it easier for social distancing. The hotel clean, safe, quiet, and pet friendly. We all had a great time and my sons loved it. The staff was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable of the area, and very professional.

Everything goidStayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms. I have no complaints. Room were adequate. The staff offered us a sandwich when we arrived. Breakfast was grab and go with a good selection to choose from. Will definitely stay here again if in the area. The price of this BW is $30 cheaper a night than the BW 15 miles down the road in Thomasville.

A cheap options for work or travel. It is as expected. While staying almost three weeks in the same hotel, one gets to know the staff and the building. The staff were great, no issues. The rooms were decent, if dated, but that is to be expected. The hotel is under new ownership, and while we were visiting all doors were replaced with new RFID Locks. This is an ongoing process. Breakfast options were grab-n-go sandwitch, milk, burrito or donut. I was pleased they had anything at all during the pandemic. As for sleeping, rooms are noisy with thin walls, doors creak loudly, and the cleaning staff rolling carts on the second floor will shake the whole building. One becomes accustom. I had to break the heart of the lovely lady who desperately wanted to clean my room, NOT DURING A PANDEMIC! NO NO NO! Its in the middle of now where southern country, much agriculture and large Latino community. I can assure you that the group I was with caused the most noise, unfortunately. I stayed in my room, and tried to keep quiet, but I apologize on behalf of the crew to the staff. I'm sure we will return to this hotel at some point, and look forward to seeing what upgrades are installed.
