  Nice hotel with fab rooftop area

  This hotel is lovely. Its a quirky little place family run. The staff are nice and friendly and look after you well. The pool area is clean and small which creates a nice atmosphere with a small bar beside it. On the rooftop are two whirlpools which are just fantastic. We spent two evenings here over looking lake Garda! Didnt even head out for food. The dinner menu is delicious. Really worth staying in for a night. My one negative was its a bit disorganised! We ordered drinks and food and all put on the room but theres no signing system and when we got our bill it was wrong. This was frustrating as a signing system should be in place but they were ok about it in the end. One thing to note about this hotel is the location. It may not suit everyone, we had no car so were reliant on taxis (which were very expensive and hard to get) or buses which were infrequent. Overall I liked the hotel good food, nice staff (perhaps a little disorganised) and if the location was suitable for you (directly in middle of descenzano and sirmione) def give it a try!

  Excellent family run hotel with wonderful staff

  We stayed at Hotel Berta for 10 days on a family holiday to Lake Garda in July 2019. What a delightful family run hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. We managed to visit beautiful places around Lake Garda during our stay, specally with the help of hotel staff, as they were quite knowledgable about the local area! They always make you feel welcome and really went out of their way to help us most of the times. We stayed in a family room, which they kept very clean & tidy every day. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. You can spend your evening time relaxing at the clean and tidy out door swimming pool area or at the beautiful roof terrace with laungers and two hot tubs. We spent most evenings relaxing in the hot tubs, enjoying the amazing view of Lake Garda and watching the most beautiful sun set! According to our 5 year old Grand son, the evening time we spent in the roof terrace hot tub was the best part of his Lake Garda holiday! We were treated so well by the hotel staff & we felt very relaxed & homely. We would highly recommend this very friendly, family run hotel Berta to anyone visiting this area. We would definitely return here! Our big thank to all the wonderful staff at the Hotel Berta, especially, Ingrid, Paula, Ana, Astrid, Nicholas & Alberto, who made our holiday in Lake Garda a very relaxing and enjoyable one!

  Beautiful stay

  We stayed in Hotel Berta for 10 days as our base whilst travelling in Lake Garda. From the beginning the staff were so friendly, kind and helpful! It is a family run place and we got to know each of the family members ( Ingrid, Paula, Ana, Astrid, Nicholas and Alberto) throughout our stay. They worked very hard to give us recommendations, help us with transport and made us feel at home! They are an incredible family and work so hard to make it a nice stay for people! The breakfast had a wide variety of options each day and would change frequently which was good! Our rooms were cleaned every day and was lovely to come back to a beautiful room each day. They had a pool on entrance to the hotel and then two hot tubs on the roof terrace which my nephew loved!!! We used it everyday! There was also a sauna if you wished to use it for a small extra cost. From the roof terrace there were epically beautiful sunsets each night and views of the lake! We had a four person family room and it was kept very clean! We would stay there again without any hesitation. Thank you so much for the most wonderful stay!!! Location - The hotel is in between peschiera and desezano. There is a bus that links you to other areas but after 8pm it stops running so you will have to take taxis if you do not have a car. There were not too many good restaurants immediately nearby which normally isnt a problem, but we had a small child with us so walking 25-30 minutes for dinner was tiring Small suggestion: Rooms- To add a bit of a nice extra touch I would recommend the hotel provides kettles with teas and coffees. In the evenings we would want a nice hot drink and a relax, but would have to go down to the bar to bring up hot water and go to the dining area to get teabags.

  Bellissimo

  The breakfast is great choosing and the rooms are clean and comfy. The roof top sauna and hot whirlpool are best in class. Defenetely worth booking. Also great access to nearby sights. ***** Visit if you can.

  Nice surprise

  Very nice the two whirlpools on the rooftop. The superior room is very comfortable and has a cute balcony where you can relax looking at the lake. Very nice too is the pool at the ground floor. Nice surprise (and very good) was the continentale breakfast. The family who runs the hotel is very kind and welcoming. The hotel has adopted all the necessary measures anti Covid-19. The only unfavorable point is the not central position between Desenzano and Sirmione.
