  Relaxing days

  We all liked the food which was served in the evening. The hotel is situated right next to a charming park suitable for nice walks. This hotel is located very close to a "super" saline water spa which we visited every day because the entrance fee to the bath and sauna facility was part of the hotel package. There are indoor and outdoor pools and lots of chaise lounges to relax. Close by in Uelzen is the famous railroad station remodeled by the artist Hundertwasser. Crazy but a "must see". Also close by is the "Lueneburger Heide" which is so beautiful when in bloom in fall.

  Fantastic place

  We stayed here for 3 nights with our dog and I can not say enough good things about the property. Its a warm and welcoming privately owned hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet, very good set dinner menu for purchase and comfortable rooms with very strong WiFi. Although its 3 stars, the towels and beds were far superior to the 4 star up the street. They accommodated my gluten allergy with top quality bread served hot and crispy each morning and made special accommodations by adjusting their offered evening menu the one night we ate at the hotel restaurant. The ONLY bad thing is that we wanted to extend our stay and they were fully booked for our room and offered us a smaller room and an added bed which would have been too small with the dog. So we moved down the street. In retrospect we should have taken the smaller room as this hotel is far superior to the 4 star we moved to.
