  Just Beside to Galzig Cable Car

  Hotel Bergschoessl was a stylish small hotel with an unbeatable location just beside to Galzig Cable Car. My budget single room was located in the basement at the same level with the sauna. Although it was a basement room there was a window looking outside.The room with a single bed and a small ensuite kitchen was cool. There was no ensuite bathroom in the single room,so I had to use the toilets and the showers of the sauna, this was not a problem because the sauna was only functional during 17:00-20:00. The ski room was adequate. Buffet style breakfast with quality ingredients was nice.The views over Galzig Cable Car from the breakfast room was amazing especially during evening time. The wireless connection was fast .The reception staff was kind.

  Exceptional alpine B&B with an unbeatable breakfast!

  We booked a one nights stay at Bergschlossl, and we were stunned by what we received (so much so that we had to check on our reservation whether we had read the room rate right!!). When we arrived, we were able to use the underground parking facilities which then lead directly into the hotel. We were met by the host Jutta, who was incredibly lovely and helpful. Our room was charming, and had a real alpine chalet feel. We stayed in the Rosengarten double room. There was an iMac in the room which doubled as a TV, and the bathroom was gigantic with a large bath and excellent shower. Our dog was also pampered, with his own sheepskin rug and bowls provided! The breakfast was the real star of the show - anything you can think of to include in a continental breakfast was there (breads, cheeses, hams, fruit salad, croissants, different Jams, cereals and granola). Jutta, who looked the part in her Dirndl, then came and asked how we wanted our eggs. Really excellent service. Having researched this hotel, I saw that the majority of its business is in the winter (for obvious reasons). I would recommend this hotel to anyone for the walks and mountain biking on offer in the Amberg region, as it is right next to the galzig gondola and the room was an absolute steal for what we received. We will almost certainly be returning to the Bergschlossl!

  Great people even in bad times

  I was booking a room for sky vacation and had to cancel due to the Corona virus. Although most of the booking was nonrefundable, they agreed to refund it all. In my next visit to st. Anton, I will surly choose them again!

  One to avoid this Ski Season

  Ok, so it's midnight and I've spent the last 30 minutes in shock. A man, unknown to me has just let himself into my locked room, waking me up. I think he is maybe the owner/manager as he was wittering on about a fusebox which was apparently behind my wardrobe. However I wouldnt know as he didn't bother to introduce himself ...or indeed get dressed, arriving unceremoniously in an ill-fitting bathrobe. As a female solo traveller, A STRANGE UNDRESSED MAN UNLOCKING MY BEDROOM DOOR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND MARCHING IN WITHOUT SO MUCH AS AN 'EXCUSE ME' is a problem for me. Utterly utterly unacceptable.this is not a professional hotel. AVOID

  'WOW' What a Gem in St Anton

  i have been going to St Anton for the last 20 years and this time my regular places were full and then this popped up on the internet, they had a room and i booked, wow is what i can say, a lovely family Hotel right next to the lift, i hope they have a room next time i go Skiing, thank you to the family and also to Kate you cooked the breakfast every morning,
