  Fabulous Hotel

  A real find. Wonderful welcome, excellent well-trained staff who were all charming, fabulous spa, and a great choice of wonderful food in the restaurant. The rooms (all suites of various sizes), were spotless and well maintained. A great experience and we will definitely be returning.

  Magnificent hotel

  The hotel is simply luxurious and spectacular. The warm welcome, parking facility, spacious room, amazing bathroom and incredible dinner with 5 courses. Wide range of salad buffet and delicious food. Classy and classic interior design, comfortable bed, all needed facilities and even more. Friendly and professional staff. Worth a stay and worth it's price.

  Exceptional 5 star hotel in the heart of Solden

  Just 1-minute walk to the ski lift and nursery slopes this modern luxury hotel is by far one of the best places to stay in Solden. The hotel is great for family, friends, couples or business trips and offers pretty much everything a luxury traveller will need. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped with mood lighting and an excellent sound system. The minibar is all complimentary and topped up daily. On request, they even swapped my mini bar fizzy drinks for some healthy juices, which was a nice touch. The Spa is modern and all the staff (especially the Sauna master) are really friendly and helpful. We found the outside hot tub a great way to unwind after a day on the slopes, or for the daring, you can get naked and enjoy one of the many Austrian Sauna's (a very different experience crammed in a hot room with a group of naked strangers). For the less adventurous there is also a sauna for non-nude and a beautiful swimming pool and relaxation area. Treatments are reasonably priced and my 1-hour massage was very good! In the main restaurant, a 6-course dinner is served daily for dinner and includes a spectacular selection from their buffet and a legendary cheese board with more choice than most Michelin star restaurants. Overall the standard of food and service is very good but can be a bit slow at times. Dinner normally takes about 2-3 hours if you have all 6 courses and although all of the dishes were well cooked and well presented, some were a bit confused and experimental. The chef is clearly trying out lots of new ideas and goes all out to impress with his sometimes wild combinations, some of which were amazing and easily of 1 Michelin star standard. Others dishes fell short and combinations simply did not work, but there was always an alternative choice (for every course) if you do not like the menu, which was great. One of our party decided to just have Fillet steak and chips every night because that whats he loves! The wine list was well selected, although with only one sommelier you will have to wait if you want a recommendation. The breakfast buffet was also very good and had a great choice of food including cooked breakfast, juice station, egg station, fresh fruit, cereals and yoghurts, just about everything one could ever want. The only area the hotel lacks is 24-hour room service food, which was a slight let down for a 5-star hotel. Although the night porter went above and beyond to cook us a pizza when he saw our disappointment after returning from a night out at 2 am! Generally, all the staff in the hotel were friendly, attentive and professional. There was not much in the way of personal service (except in the Spa) and concierge was not as prominent or helpful as we would have liked. In some 5 star hotels I have stayed, guests have been greeted by there name and staff often remember all the little details such as which wine you prefer. Unfortunately, this level of personal service was not seen at the Bergland. Overall though, I would highly rate this hotel and would definitely return. I also thought it offered excellent value for money, especially compared to the French equivalent 5-star hotel.

  Amazing Luxury Hotel, the Best in Sölden in my opinion

  I stayed at the Bergland Desing & Wellness hotel in Sölden several times during the Summer period. In my opinion, this is the best luxury 5* hotel in Tyrol. Rooms are very well furnished, elegant and cosy. The hotel atmosphere is magic, elegant and sophisticated. Very charming. The staff is very well trained and offering excellent service. The restaurant is amazing, offering every day a great choice of both Tyrolean and International cuisine, as well as an incredible buffet. The breakfast at the Bergland hotel offers an incredible choice and a chef is available to cook fresh egg plates. Every time I visit Sölden I stay at this peerless hotel. I loved the external swimming pool (new since Summer 2020) it was the perfect location to relaxing and read a book during sunny days.

  Very nice stay

  We had a very pleasant experience at the Bergland. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger suite which set the tone for our entire stay. Thank you! The amenities were exceptional, the grounds and common areas are pristine, the food is first-class, Housekeeping is outstanding and the surroundings are the best in the Austrian alps. Our food expectations are general pretty high but the Bergland Chef completely exceeded expectations. Generally, the staff is accommodating and friendly but they do not provide 5 star service. The reception, bar and restaurant staff lack attention to the customer, warmth, and do not anticipate needs. The exception is Chiara (reception) and Laura (server). The reception staff is more focused on their computer screens than on the customer. Otherwise, we had a really wonderful experience. Thank you.
