  Dorm-typed & toilets are bad!!

  This lodge doesn't have separate dorms for male and female rooms. My friend & I had to share with other stranger guys that happened to be perverted. No privacy at all. Bed mattresses are also in bad condition. Along with the A/C. The bathrooms are so in bad conditions & dirty. Stayed 1 night & my friend & I moved to Backpackers Stay. That lodge was so so so much better than Berambih's. Even the staffs here are less friendly compared to Backpackers Stay's. Over there are all the opposite to Berambih's qualities. Trust me.

  So so lodge..

  I stayed at this lodge last year. The environment is nice and the room that I stayed was nice too. But there are few other lodges in Kuching that are better than this. I was very satisfy with this lodge because the staff there are so kind and friendly.

  Location

  the location is near to the river. Just a few minutes. Others just nice. My stay here was 3D2N and no issues during my stay here. The environment like a traditional and i like it. No regret, the staff is very helpful.

  Lost our booking

  When we turned up at the place it turned out they forgot to update the availability online and had accepted the booking without actually having rooms available. So they made us go to another place. Since it was the middle of the night we were already not too happy with this. But although the other place was not as nice, we eventually had our place to stay some time later. However we really got upset the next day when we asked for a discount because of the trouble we had. No-one felt responsible or even apologized. They even asked for more money because we stayed in a "better" room. Only after more than one hour of discussion they said that we should just pay half of the original price. All in all I found the behavior really unprofessional. Mistakes like losing a booking are not nice but they do happen. It's not even a big deal usually. But it becomes one if you fail to acknowledge the mistake you made and continue giving the customer a hard time.

  The worst place I've ever been

  When I arrived, the place was being completely refurbished, but they kept it working. It wasn't AT ALL what offered in the internet. There wasn't bathroon and the toilet was just a bucket!!! I had to runnaway and, although I only left my bagpack there for one hour, they didn't refund me the money, adducing it was not their fault! Don't even think about going there!!!
