  Nice and good quality business hotel

  Friendly staffs, smooth check in, nice room , average size with a queen size bed and a small sofa too in the room.Cafe served quite nice variety of menu and food too ! Quite accessible to many places like malls, bus terminal and convenient store. Had a free laundry room too ! Fairly good overall to me. Not bad for a business/job stay.

  Continuation of my brief business trip to Pohang from Dec 20 to Dec 23rd. I stayed here for 1 night. Moved from another hotel. What was good? I liked the location. Closer to work location. I have been using this establishment back when it was the Ramada Encore. The price was cheap and included breakfast but this with a company contract rate. Not sure if I would select this place if I was not on business. The facilities are old but everything was clean and nicely done up. Room was tidy and AC controls were functional. The bathroom was small but awesome water pressure. Toiletries were sparse but I have gotten use to it over the years Breakfast buffet was OK but it hasn't changed over all these years. Check in procedure was quick and efficient. Ample parking space. What needs to be improved? The room was tidy with a double bed but the overall interior needs an overhaul. I was informed by staff during my last visit earlier in Summer all the bedding was replaced. It was nice hard bed but the pillows were way too high. Slept without them. Breakfast items need to change. It hasn't changed for years but it is enough. I even got to wear my slippers. In room fridge needs to be replaced. Very noisy and hard to fall asleep. Yes I would stay again because it is a cheap and functional place to stay. No frills though.

  Good for business trip

  This hotel is 20 minutes away from airport or train station by taxi. As it is not located in downtown, hardly to find amusement or entertainment neighborhood. Instead being away from noisy circumstance, it can provide you with resting silently. If you are traveling business trip, then I will recommend this accommodation otherwise you might be bored a little.

  Benikea Hotel Pohang

  While driving in Pohang can be a challenge, the Benikea Hotel is in a good location with good parking. Hotel lobby was very clean and bright. Staff was very helpful/friendly and spoke English well. Very good AM breakfast. Restaurants nearby. Mac Donalds delivers to the hotel if you want a change of pace. Small juice bar in the lobby. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Noise from nearby construction did not penetrate hotel room walls.

  Close to Bus Terminal

  Stayed only one night here as had another booking elsewhere the following 2 days. This hotel is a business hotel and is very old school, the furnishings and decor is a little dated but the service from the staff was wonderful and the front desk staff answered all my queries and even made me a coffee when the coffee shop was not open yet. The room was spacious and the bathroom was ok, I still cant get used to bathroom slippers but they have them. There is a self laundry facility on the 3rd floor but be warned to only wash a little clothes as it takes forever to dry. If arriving by bus into Pohang and need a quick place to stay I would recommend here.
