  Perfect stay

  We stayed at Belvedere for a week in September. Maria on reception is very friendly and helpful. Rest of staff work really hard but are always smiling. Perfect location just across the road to the beach where you can laze all day or get a water taxi into Skiathos Town. Runs every day up to 11pm. Buses are very frequent and sometimes rather full, stop just outside the hotel. We had a very relaxing time at the Belvedere and made friends with other guests. First class, well done.

  Good value, great base

  We stayed at Belvedere at an unlucky time. The weather was unsettled and Thomas Cook had just collapsed, so our timing was poor to say the least. The hotel is in an excellent location, only 5 minutes from tbe stunning Achladies beach and with a bus stop right outside the gates, the rest of the island is only minutes away too. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, helpful and extremely hard working; nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is well presented. We stayed in one of the bungalows, which was spacious, modern and clean. However, the location wasnt ideal; up a lot of steps, it was quite a cardio workout to get there, so not recommended for the unfit. There is a porter who can drive you up the hill in a van, but there is a wait for him to arrive if hes not around at the time. The bungalow was semi detached and had a locked, adjoining door separating us from our neighbours; Again not ideal; we could hear every breath and movement as if they were in the same room. The gentleman next door was a snorer so until he left, we didnt get a lot of sleep. We stayed on an all inclusive basis and thoroughly enjoyed all of the food, although we were usually out and about at lunchtimes. I was a little disappointed at the lack of the classic Greek dishes on offer in the evenings e.g. moussaka, lamb kleftico, beef stifafo; its possible they may have been on offer at a lunch time. On the whole, the hotel was excellent value for money and would stay again without hesitation, but would request a room in the main hotel.

  Wow

  The hotel rooms and all staff was amazing staff going above and beyond No entertainment but has background music entertainment is available in town centre buses run till late and taxi no more than 10 Euro if you miss the last bus back the bar in hotel shuts at 11pm for all inclusive and opens again at 10am kirki the local bar and the blind dog in town are good places to visit the beach across from the hotel is nice but stoney but the beach at bus stop 26 is more sandy and in season has a forest playground and water sports Maria on front desk very helpful As are most of the staff and the chiefs well they can't do enough for you if you go in season the Greek night over at paradise is amazing. Take games with you it was So nice to take a step back from technology and interact with each other

  You get more than you pay for

  Spend a week at end of September with my Lady. Since the arrival (we arrived 2 hours early) we could check in earlier. Maria at the reception was so sincerely helpfull with assisting us about the hotel facilities, places to visit and general guidance about this fantastic Island. Everyone from the staff were such polite, HARD working and proffesional. It felt like they didn't sleep... just being there to provide proper service. We purchased all inclusive, actually I didn't expect much for the price we paid, however got absolutely surpised. Delicious food served at breakfast , lunch and dinner. Always local ingrediens and meals , really good! ( of course there is a selection for the poorly educated gastronomically people such as FF and pasta ... ). At the end of the second day you already had gotten to know everyone and everytime you are coming back to the hotel or passing just through can have a little chat and feel the social aspect of the Greek culture. Rooms were newly renovated and furnished nicely. The cleaning was in a top level ( the cleaning ladies would "chase" you as soon as you leave the room no matter what time and they would come to put it back in order and you would never notice when had happened). When we come back to this absolutely stunning Island we are curtainly staying at Belvedere again! Thank you ps. It's very rare that I bother writing reviews , however I thought people must know about the experiance we've got there.

  Amazing place a staff amazing

  Thus was our second time this year to the belverdere in skiathos and have to say it's a special place. Mostly so for the staff who have on both occasions made us feel special and cant do enough for you. Location is great and only 5 minutes to get a water taxi to skiathos town and its stunning. Supermarket just across the road. Special shout out to xristina the waitress and Maria on reception. Hope to see them again when we return. Eric and martyn
