Nice location but too expensiveThe location of the hotel was nice - only a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 20 minute drive to the Kuekenhof Gardens. That said, I was expecting more for 160 Euro/night. Nothing was too bad but nothing great. It was just an average hotel, not worth the price though. A few things I would like to point out: -The elevator was broken and the stairs are very steep (potentially dangerous). -8,50 Euro charge/day for parking -A good breakfast was provided consisting of meats, cheese, rolls, toast, yogurt

Old Tired, Run Down, and closingSorry, but this hotel has begun a downward spiral. Room was clean and comfortable, but the staff were virtually invisible, and the lady doing breakfast looked as if she would much rather have been somewhere else; hotel has not been decorated for a considerable time. Room heating had two settings, 'Off' and 'Bloody Hot'. Lift, worryingly, had been de-rated from 5 people to 2 people. Large placard on the grounds indicated that the building had been sold, and was to be turned into apartments, hence there seemed to be little enthusiasm for 'serve' the guests!

Nice Hotel, professional welcomewe stayed 2 nights at the "Belvedere" and we were very happy. Even if the hotel is not a new building, it has its charm. Big bedroom with very high ceiling, new bathroom, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast well served, and there is a parking in the premices of the hotel. The young man at the reception was charming, spoke german and english perfectly, and was very accomodating. Unfortunately the weather was not very plesant but we took this hotel as a base for our visit to Keukenhof (around 15 km from it). it must be a nice location in summer time. I recommend this hotel.

Don't miss it before it is to lateHotel Belvedere is one of the hotels wich is a real part of the coastal history of Noordwijk. Despite the fact it is not trendy you'll find all you need for a pleasant and relaxed stay. Just a three minutes walk brings you on the coatsline and the beautifull long streched beach of the Dutch coast. The lobby gives a warm English style feeling and your room is big and clean. Don't miss it because the hotel will be gone to make place for new to build expensive appartments. That's life.

Old style, cosy stay. Followed by a flood of spam emailsThe hotel is a total recommendation in terms of cleanness and hospitality. One thing has been bothering me for almost a year now: two weeks after signing my registration form with my email address at the reception (gave my business card) I am receiving about 5 Dutch spam emails per day. Advise: Enjoy the breakfast, hide your email.
