  Golf trip

  Thanks to the Bells hotel and staff for making our trip to your hotel and golf club such a great one during these restrictions that have been placed upon us over the last months. All 19 of us want to say thank you for everything that as been put in place to make our trip as safe and comfortable as is possible,everything from accommodation to the catering first class we will be returning next year and hopefully in better circumstances.Thanks again John Sims and the gang of Golfers from Ilfracombe golf club.

  Bells Hotel made us feel like Masters Champions

  We had a first class visit to Bells Hotel. As a group of 13 we were made to feel safe as there was no problem social distancing and the whole place was well sanitised. The rooms were spacious and comfortable while the course was well kept with a perfect mix of challenging and more manageable holes. The food was enjoyed by all; the full English breakfast and selection of cereals gave me the strength to drive the green on the 14th and the dinnertime options were varied and well made. What really made this place so special for us though was the staff, who were all friendly, genuine and attentive. The bar is well stocked and helped me to forget taking three out of a bunker during our second round. All of our group agreed that we'll be visiting again next year.

  Great stay with lovely golf course

  My self and 3 friends had a great stay at Bells hotel rooms great all very clean .The food was excellent and the beer in bar a good price and a lovely pint.we stayed 1 night and had 2 rounds of golf .The course was busy but kept moving fine(no rush anyway ) course was a fair0 challenge and in great Condition. We all had a great time and thought it was excellent value for money.The staff were all very friendly and really managed the current situation well .Thank you all at the Bells we will be returning again.

  Excellent value for money

  Anyone looking for an unpretentious but comfortable accommodation with easy access to the beautfy spots of the Wye Valley will do well to choose Bells Hotel. There is everything you need and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Very clean and all the necessities were provided - the staff coped really well with the demands of the Covid-19 regulations.

  Overnight stay

  We chose this property as a convenient stop over en route to Cornwall, with the bonus of seeing something of the Forest of Dean. It proved a good choice with good clean accommodation and friendly staff, for a very reasonable price. Will be happy to stay here again.
