  A good alternative to Foxwoods hotel

  Less the a 10 minute drive to Foxwoods, some rate are HALF of those at Foxwoods. Our room was average size, tv, refrigerator, but no microwave. Didn't eat there. Small exercise room, small pool. Ceiling light strip with no dimmer switch made it feel like an interrogation room from the movies. Bathroom shower and tub kind of narrow not good for big people, Only 3 towels for a 4 person room. Friendly staff. A great place to sleep but not to hang out. Funny, no visible brochures or other info about Foxwoods just down the road. What's up with that?

  Excellent hotel close to Mystic, casinos, and beaches!

  We were extremely impressed with this beautiful hotel. The hotel is lovely and in a great location close to many activities and areas. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was fantastic. Super clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was great! I would highly recommend this hotel, it can't be beat!!

  My second time was no where as good as the first!

  I first visited the Bellisimo Grande back in July. We thought it was such a beautiful hotel. We were excited to visit again. We went back recently this past weekend. 11/20-11/22, and WHOA what a difference. The young lady that check us in was very friendly and informative, but after that everything went down hill. We had the Sicilian king room at first and for the price it had a "motel" feel. Very drab and dingy looking, so we upgraded to the Venetian king. We stayed in the room that room back in July. I understand that there are so many restriction because of COVID, but this hotel has really nothing that can make your stay feel as normal as possible. Having ONE microwave for the entire hotel to share is unsanitary to me. Not having PAPER PLATES CUPS and things to eat out of outside of Styrofoam is absurd. we all know we cant put that in the microwave. Another thing I thought was ghetto, was I was listening to music in my room it was loud but still early.. and instead of a courtesy call to ask me to turn it down they banged on my door like they were the swat team. SO RUDE. When it was time to leave on Sunday, they banged on my door again at ELEVEN SHARP called my room at 11:15 and then called my room again @ 11:30 to make sure that we were leaving. I have never been harassed to leave a empty hotel in my life. Needless to say we will not be going back to this hotel. Ive paid less money per night and got 10x better service during a pandemic than here. Instead of trying to stay above the fray to be the best or stay the best in the area, I believe this hotel is doing the BARE MINIMUM and really doesn't care.

  New Years Eve stay

  Me & my GF came here many years ago for a visit to Foxwoods & we remembered how nice it was so we decided to stay for NYE this year. The place was still pretty much as we remembered. The staff was very nice. Upon checkin the nice woman at the front desk asked us if we wanted a pillow top or a temper-pedic mattress. I thought that was very nice. Weve never had a choice before at any hotel weve stayed at. We took the temper-pedic and had a nice sleep. Overall the hotel was just as nice as we remembered. The only minor complaint we could have is that there is a stand up shower that is kind of small. Other than that the room was nice & clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel if youre looking to visit the casinos. Mystic is also not too far away. It also much cheaper to stay here than at the casino itself.

  Just no!

  In short I am here right now. I cancelled my second night. I was trying to get out of my house and relax due to Covid. So I am a local. I wanted to come here because they have jacuzzis in the room. Well first night they couldn't accomdate so I was waiting for the second. Not even gonna make it that far. My face is breaking out in hives because our entire "suite" stinks like bug spray. There is nothing special about this room at all. It's less than a motel 8. I should have gone with the Hyatt in mystic. The whole 3 rd floor wreaks like pot. The noise level is beyond belief. And the outside is clearly never cleaned. Don't let them fool you saying they are a spa or anything above that. It's like a cheap motel you will find on 95. The pool is less than sub par. They said they do a 30 minute restriction on staying in their because of Covid yet I have seen the same kids in there for the past two hours. I paid a ton of money to stay in a room that stinks and can watch the same stuff at home.
