  Amazing experience

  Where do you start with this Castle, it is truly amazing beautiful surroundings, fantastic staff and management. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by and informed of the current restrictions which are adhered too. We're on a one night stay. Coffee and scones in the sitting room. Some pre dinner drinks in the garden before a fantastic dinner. A walk in the garden to stretch our legs. The rooms are all beautifully decorated. The staff are a credit to the venue and can't do enough to make your stay a pleasant one. Being a Irish castle it has 2 Irish wolfhounds patrolling the reception area. I've stayed in a few castles in Ireland but this one is by far the best .If you don't believe come and experience it for yourself. Thank you Bellingham Castle.

  Exquisite stay

  Since 2017,Ive made luxury hotel stays a part of my life but only a select few have pulled on my heart strings+made me feel special like Bellingham Castle has. Its sister hotel Ballyseede Castle Hotel made me feel the exact same fuzzy way last year. Pulling into the grounds,I already knew it was exclusive when I had to ring a buzzer+give my name for the grand gates to open in front of me. As I parked up,not 1 but 2 friendly gentlemen approached my car to take my luggage in. I was then walked to my room, which I always think is a nice touch-Again this is something that stood out for me when I stayed at Ballyseede last year. A personalised plate of chocolates on my room table was a lovely surprise. All these little extras really make a world of difference when remembering your favourite hotel stays. On check-in+check-out, there were complimentary tea,coffee,scones,biscuits+cakes in one of the beautiful drawing rooms. Ive never seen this offered as a complimentary to your stay before+I think its a huge plus. It was very welcome. After a walk around the grounds which are stunning with bridges,waterfall,rivers, various seating areas etc,I spent some time in the hotel Library. Later that evening,I had a 3 course meal as part of my package. The food was delicious needless to say. I had roasted red pepper+tomato soup for starter, chicken+chorizo roulade on a bed of rice+vegetables for mains and chocolate brownie for dessert,washed down with a very smooth rosé wine. This place oozes glamour yet not at all pretentious,in fact it was so relaxed,I was made to feel like I was amongst friends. Good staff is so important and the fact that I was greeted several times by my first name actually meant so much. They make you feel like a celebrity. Im absolutely thrilled to give this place 5 stars from me and hope to be back very soon.

  Great service, beautiful venue!

  Attended a wedding here in December 2020 and what an amazing venue!! Not only is it a beautiful setting, but the service was just incredible. Upon arrival it was pouring rain and one of the staff came out to the car with an umbrella which was such a lovely touch - I was very grateful! The wedding was beautiful and with small numbers due to Covid restrictions, the team did so well to make it special. The meal was beautiful. I believe the beef is their speciality and it was absolutely perfect! All the little rooms are just beautiful and so nice to explore and there was biscuits, tea and coffee available in the Buttery kitchen all evening which was great. Bedrooms are all fabulous - lovely and comfortable. There was a tea and coffee station with take away cups when everyone was leaving the next morning, again a lovely touch. I really enjoyed the stay here and will definitely be looking for an excuse to go back. The staff are definitely in the right industry here as nothing was any trouble at all, couldnt fault a thing! Well done to the whole team!

  AMAZING!

  My brother & his new bride had their wedding here (Dec.2020) Even with smaller numbers due to COVID Castle Bellingham was absolutely amazing! Staff couldnt have been more helpful, they went above and beyond & made everyone feel safe but also comfortable, like we were in our own home! Everybody had an amazing day/night and not one person had a bad word to say about anything! The food was fantastic & the service was impeccable! Like I said we couldnt fault it from the time we arrived until the time we left, and would definitely recommend without hesitation to anybody looking for a wedding venue. Cant wait to return and visit Rí, their beautiful Irish Wolfhound, and to see how much the beautiful new puppy has grown! Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable & making my brother & sister-in-laws big day so special!

  Special memories made here

  My mum, my sister and I stayed on an overnight gourmet break for the August Bank Holiday. Every contact, from the booking to the leaving, was polite, effortless and focused on making you feel special. We were told to explore and enjoy all rooms. So many staff unobtrusively making sure we had everything that could make our stay as perfect as it could be. Every one was soo lovely to my mum who is 89, and my sister and I have another very beautiful memory of time spent with her in a luxury setting. Thank you all.
