  Very Comfortable

  Perfect stop driving across upstate New York. Even though it was just an overnight, the house was beautifully decorated, the room was air-conditioned and had its own private bathroom -- all pluses in July. The hosts were very gracious and served a delicious breakfast that put us on our way heading west. Very glad we stopped and glad to have the referral through Purple Roofs.

  Elegant, Beautiful & Cozy

  My husband and I enjoyed everything about our stay at Bellinger Rose. We only stayed on night as we were passing through the area but wished we didn't have to move on so soon. Chris and Leon have really put their heart into restoring and furnishing this wonderful home. The Jacuzzi tub in our sumptuous room was great to relax in after hours of driving. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed chatting with Chris as we ate. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay at Bellinger Rose!

  Amazing Stay!!

  The house is beautiful inside and out, and very relaxing! Sauna, amazing jacuzzi and jacuzzi rooms with a great price. The most unique place I've ever stayed hands down, I'm looking forward to my next stay very much! Breakfast was great, and the owners are wonderful people who make you feel at home. Lastly, It's not that far from Beardslee Castle if that's your reason for checking out the area; so treat yourself!

  Amazing Upstate B and B

  Wow! What to say about the Bellinger Rose Bed and Breakfast. It has this amazing Victorian feel to it that is so attractive from the minute you pull into the drive way. The owners of some of the nicest people you will be anywhere! The rooms were clean and inviting, and they all have a slightly different rose theme. Our room featured a gas fire place and a footed Jacuzzi bathtub. The bed was comfortable and all the decorations are beautiful. The owners are antique collectors and have furnished all the rooms with loving care and a full building aesthetic. Walking up the semi spiral staircase was like walking up the stairs at Hogwarts with pictures all the way, and you want to survey them all. There is a lovely living room with a player grand piano that is so inviting to sit and relax, and you will find other visitors just hanging out creating a nice atmosphere for relaxation. The breakfast is a wide menu that features something for everyone and it is made fresh. No packaged anything and you will just want to sit and enjoy. I cant recommend this place enough!

  Lovely Victorian B&B; Great for Antique-ing!

  My wife and I wanted to hit Herkimer for some "diamond" mining, and booked Bellinger Rose, the Tiffany Rose room, which was lovely, spacious, with a nice 2-person jacuzzi! (There's a sauna and hot tub in the house, too!). Chris was a great hostess- friendly, helpful and on point. She directed us to some good food, and great antique places in Bouckville and Little Falls. I'd stay here again any time. Chris made custom-made breakfasts per each of our orders, and even left us with a few plant cuttings when we were discussing landscaping! Just perfect place and hostess!
