  Perfect

  We stayed at this lovely hotel for a week at the end of June/early July. The service, food and facilities are excellent. The hotel consists of various buildings spread out across a hill top site with beautiful gardens and views across the lake. We had a spacious room (junior suite) in one of the new buildings. It was very well equipped with a large walk-in shower, twin sinks, dressing area, a sofa and balcony. Everything was spotlessly clean. The weather was extremely hot (38 Degrees) so returning each day to our cool airy room was a delight. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant on three of our seven evenings, which was delicious, modern Italian cuisine, and great value at Euro 30. Wines were also well priced. We used the hotels shuttle service to and from Verona airport at 22 euros each. On the inward journey we had a Mercedes saloon to ourselves, and a shared mini-van on the way back but this only made 2 stops en route As others have said it is a good 20-30 min walk into the centre of Malcesine. We found the easiest way to get to the lakeside promenade was to exit the hotels main driveway, turn right and continue to the zebra crossing, cross over and take the path on the left just after the crossing, down the side of the large villa with the castellated roof. This avoids the steep steps which are close to the rear entrance the hotel.

  Wonderful hotel

  We have only just left this beautiful hotel. Although I must admit I was disappointed when we were first shown to our room, which looked on first impressions like an underground bunker. But please, please have patience. The lake views are wonderful, the room is quiet with efficient air conditioning. The shower is absolutely brilliant. We could not fault anything about this hotel, the food is great, the service excellent. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

  Lovely hotel in peaceful location

  Lovely hotel with wonderful views of the lake. The meals were delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a 20 minute walk along the lake into Malcesine most mornings. Plenty of ferries from there to explore other places around the lake. Go early to catch the cable car to Monte Baldo to avoid the crowds. Perfect time of year to visit.

  Stunning Hotel and Situation

  My wife and I stayed here for a week, 14th 20th September it and was our third visit, 1997, 2010 and 2019. The quality and high standard set by the owner/manager has been maintained over all those years and is a credit to him and to the staff that interpret it. I have run a four-star hotel so understand the challenges and know when I find a good one! This hotel is just perfect and in a stunning location with amazing lake views from the hotel and the beautifully designed garden - at nights the grounds are beautiful lit creating a magical atmosphere, certainly one of the best weve ever visited and one of our favourites! A beautiful place in which you can have every attention! Everything is here with no need to move far unless you want to, the perfect place to relax and reflect. The staff are friendly polite and expert taking a pride in all they do, nothing was too much trouble, to mention any one of them by name would be unfair to the others some we did not see but felt their presence with their attention to detail from the cleaner to the chef. All the meals were presented with style and creativity in the delightful restaurant or on the terrace as you choose, managed expertly by the Restaurant Manager and his staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with all that you would expect. Its difficult to drag yourself away at the end of your holiday which assure a return again before too long.

  Breathtaking view 11/10! Dont hesitate!

  Lovely hotel at walking distance of Malescine. For me is the view very important so this hotel was just perfect. Great rooms, perfect breakfast, very friendly and nice waiters, amazing pool with breathtaking views....I come back one day, thats for sure.
