  Excellent for peaceful relaxing holiday

  If you are looking for a peaceful vacation, far away from the hustle and bustle of other hotels, restaurants, cafes and other touristy things, this is a perfect place for you! The hotel is located actually on a little hill, in the middle of a forest. Our room had a big terrace with a wonderful view everything green around and the blue sea down there. Even tough there were many guests, everything was perfectly calm and relaxing all around. The pool-area is perfectly cosy and relaxing, there was always some enjoyable music on. The pool-area is actually multi-purposed. In addition to swimming and relaxing, you may have your meal there or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The buffet-breakfast was very rich variety of ham and cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables, good bread and pastry, even coffee from the machine was good. The buffet was served in the restaurant, but the majority of guests were having their breakfast outside, in the pool area. Dishes were pretty old or chipped. We tried a la carte lunch one day and it was excellent. Our room was on the 4th floor. It was very big and perfectly clean, just like the bathroom. Wi-Fi was available only in the lobby. There was no hair-dryer in the room, but had to be taken from the reception. However, it turned out there was only one available, so if unavailable at the moment, you have to wait for it to be returned. There was no mini-bar in the room, only a fridge. The hotel staff was polite and helpful, but too often confused without visible reason. I guess English was a problem. Even tough they spoke English, it was with difficulties. I did not find them particularly flexible either. We asked for late check-out, but they determinedly answered no even before the end of our question and before checking weather the room was really booked. They do not accept credit cards, but exchange foreign currency. Returning to the location of the hotel, you have to be aware that it is about 15-minute walking downhill away from the beach. Therefore, it is not very convenient for the elderly or little kids. But, there was a shuttle-bus organised from the hotel to the beach in the morning hours. The town of Varna is cca. 15 km away from the hotel. It is reachable by bus, the bus stop is near the beach, about 15-min. walk from the hotel. The receptionist in the hotel told us that there were buses to Varna four times a day, but we soon discovered there was a bus to Varna every 15 min. You may also take a taxi. Fares vary, you have to pre-agree it with the driver before the drive. Taxis are circling around all the time, especially around the bus-stop offering very cheap drives to Varna, if they pick up more people.

  Nice hotel, but extremley far from resort

  It's a nice hotel, but i've searched for it for about an hour, asking locals for indications. The taxi drivers asked money for indications, and bulgarians are not very welcoming, generally. The google maps indications are not good, trust me. Its like in a different village, not Golden Sands. You need a car for trip to Golden Sands resort, (15 minutes by car) and keep in mind that the parking place around there is about 1eur/hour. Friendly staff, very poor breakfast, and average conditions, but overall ok for conditions. I definetley would'nt repeat the experience, and i will prefere to pay a bit extra for a hotel in the resort. And not all the rooms have sea view. I stayed on the 1st floor, and could'nt see anything but a small forest in front of my window.

  Hotel Bellevue Sunny Beach

  Hotel was spotless, bedrooms was clean tidied everyday food was catered towards the german palate but plenty of restaurants closeby to cater for all tastes weather unfortunately was cloudy and windy during visit a good holiday overall. Other guests were quite noisy during the early hours no respect for other guests. Would pobally try again but earlier in the season to see if weather was better. excursions were good I would recommend Khans tent just to see bendy wendy totally amazing go have a look to see what I mean

  Read this before booking..and think one more time

  2 years ago When we stayed in this hotel it was really good and we would come anf stay again .....what a big mistake we have made ..Hotel is so far..... hotel is top of the hill takes 30 mins to walk to the sea and shops , not good for hot weather. Rooms are ok but after saying that we did book and pay for twin beds but in arrival was told they have none left so out son ended up sleeping on a put me up camp type bed. swimming pool was never ever cleaned....lots of stones and sand . The pool is small inside so don't believe the pictures and deepest part is 1.60 cm .Hotel location finding is little difficult no proper sign for finding hotel, road is so bad too if you coming with own car.. ( we drove from England )But worse part are the STAFF (zombies) who never ever smile or welcome sound like they don't want you here and looks like walking zombies.can't say really relaxing hotel because outside ppl coming for kids party wedding etc and never asked or giving any info to customers..and price for open buffet dinner when it's rich 14lv when it's poor 17lv in&out hotel is too old electric cables everywhere even in swimming pool and electric box is broke near the pool and the lift was always stuck 3rd or 4th floor... message for the HOTEL OWNER if you want to earn money and have happy customers you must change all management and fix everything.... Apart from the receptionists who always had a smile for their guest. Think one more time before booking into this hotel or pay little more and go for better Holiday.after all these maybe you are asking what did we do and about it all. ? well we left hotel early we don't want to stay anymore with these walking miserable people.

  Lovely and Quiet

  It took a bit of finding but once my partner and I were there it was worth it. If you're looking for a quiet holiday away from the actual resort this is the place. The room (and hotel in general) is lovely, clean and spacious, pool is nice and dining is all good. Service was fine, had no problems when we needed anything. It is however still a walk away from the beach, make sure you remember the way! Although in the hot weather it was hard to walk it wasn't actually that bad for a walk, I enjoyed looking around the resort. We only stayed a couple of days and we got used to it! We did walk into the main resort, which was nice, but aimed at younger people who want to party. Good shopping experience though! There was even a Mc Donalds and Subway? Overall experience was pretty good. We enjoyed having the pool entirely to ourselves!
