  Not a very nice place.... in fact terrible

  I wish wed look at Trip Advisor before we booked, but we stayed here about 8 years ago and had a pleasant experience. After we arrived to our 2 bedroom, 2 level apartment we discovered the floors not vacuumed, door to balcony wouldnt close, BBQ absolutely not usable, having collapsed against the wall and riddled with corrosion, even the pans in the kitchen were disgusting.... I went to see Lisa the manager, who blamed everyone else for the condition of the apartment. She agreed to allow us to stay in the Presidential suite for the night whilst she sorted out an alternate room, which we did, but presidential it was NOT. REALLY disappointing because everything was so run down, again the BBQ was not usable, stains on the doona, TV hanging off the wall, shower doors poorly designed so was difficult to access, balcony and second floor deck very poorly maintained, kitchen taps nearly falling off and pots/pans also disgusting & the Italian leather couch was well past its prime. At least the floors were pretty clean, BUT the place needs a LOT of work to be expecting $700 a night! We ended up staying in this apartment for our entire stay, primarily because wed already paid and we really had nowhere else to go to as we had arranged for friends to meet with us across the weekend on the beaches meant we didnt have any option other than to stay. It was not worth even the $350 per night we paid (for the original apartment). I will not be returning or recommending any else stay here. Sadly, the manager was not available for us to provide this feedback when we checked out, but I will be reposting this directly on their website.

  What a horrible place to stay.

  IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD. My wife surprised me with a getaway weekend, the first since our son was born 2 years ago and the first night away from our boy Together. What a disgraceful place to say the least. My wifes instant disappointment when she saw the PENTHOUSE room was heart breaking as I know shed put so much effort into organising this. The lady looking after us was less than helpful. My advice to her find another job where you can actually be bothered looking after people. A customer orientated approach was no where to be seen. Upon checkout we called to ask about feedback to our complaints her replies where its my day off I will deal with it tomorrow. I also need to mention the fact that 1000$ was TAKEN NOT HELD from my wifes savings acc because she was concerned about us partying my wife is 28 weeks pregnant I dont think we are the partying type. DO NOT STAY HERE THE ROOMS ARE FILTHY, APPLIANCES MISSING THE ONES THAT ARE THERE ARE FAULTY.

  Very tired, needs a major overhaul, mould all through both bathrooms, four person penthouse with only crockery for 3 people, sliding door in en-suite broken, lighting was terrible, many lights out, door to balcony not working, floor mat in lounge room was filthy, walls need painting, tiles loose on balcony, child safety hazard on balcony, top balcony glass walls cracked, spa down stairs was tepid, location and view is great but so overpriced for the quality of the premises, so disappointing

  Dirty and poorly managed

  When we got there, we had an 'upgrade' because the apartment we booked wasn't ready. We were excited till we walked into the 'penthouse'. Still confetti on the floor from a previous party? Sigarette buds in potplants, dirty grill, tab nobs missing in shower, no plug for the bath etc... When we mentioned it to the reception they said they couldn't get anyone to fix things. But what about the cleaning? It was really dirty. When we left we asked for someone to contact us within a few days to explain but they never did. Terrible place to stay, very run down.

  Tired Old Dame

  The position of the Bellagio is enticing. Who wouldnt want to stay across from Collaroy Beach. Dont be fooled though, the photos on the website are years old and the Bellagio is tired. Make up is no longer enough, this old dame needs more than TLC. But seriously at least Clean People!!!! Check in is non existent with a key being left in a box. The after hours number doesnt connect. So really sad because The Bellagio has great bones, great views (if the windows had been cleaned in the last few years) and great location. What a waste!
