  Great view, uncomfortable beds

  I have to start this by saying I feel terrible giving a poor review because the people who own the place are so wonderful, but the rooms were pretty rough, especially for >$170/night. We appreciated that they allow dogs, which is the reason we stayed there. But the room was small and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The views of the mountains are great though, and access to the dog stream was great, too.

  Family Weekend

  We absolutely loved our stay at the Bella Vista, the owners were so accommodating and friendly. The rooms were basic, clean and a good distance away from the busy-ness of town. Would definitely stay again!

  Family visit

  We based our selves here for 2 nights the motel was clean and v good Enjoyed our time here and thought it good value Enjoyed seeing the native pigeon Handy base just on edge of town Towels supplied for hot pools

  Great location

  Stayed for one night. Great welcome. Unit was ultra clean and in great condition maintenance wise. A very short walk to every thing Had dinner at the Saints pub. Quick service and good quality food to. The only negative would be that they do not have Sky TV so the reception is fairly poor. They need to invest in that as that is what people expect these days.

  Good stay at the Bella Vista

  Great hosts - tidy and clean rooms showing their age a bit but with all you need and good breakfast available - a little noise from other rooms but otherwise a good base for our stay in Hanmer Springs.
