  Couldn't Have Asked for More

  When travel was banned to Cuba from the US just a couple weeks prior to the cruise I had booked for my grandma and I, I had to scramble to plan a new vacation for the same dates. I found Bella Vista on Expedia and chose to go with them for the view, location, in house restaurant, and everything else they had to offer. All on top of a great price. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect vacation. They helped us plan and book a tour, rent a golf cart and have it ready for us at the hotel, and made sure we had an ocean front room. We travel a lot and this vacation was definitely one of our favorites thanks to Bella Vista and their staff as well as the owners.

  This place is a hidden gem

  We absolutely lucked into this place. We made somewhat last minute reservations to go down to Belize and we are so lucky to have found this place. There are not very many rooms total (only 4 in the main building on the water) and maybe 8-9 overall. It seemed like everyone knew our name from the moment we arrived and were treated like royalty with each interaction. The location is wonderful (just about 2 miles north of the bridge into town) and we walked it once in less than an hour, most of which was walking along the waterfront. San Pedro is pretty hustle and bustle but, this is the picture of serenity. The food was fantastic! Breakfast burritos (sounds simple but, these were 5-star), fryjacks with pineapple jam, ceviche, etc. All of it was simply delicious and not very expensive at all. Belize has to be one of the least expensive places to visit. Also, don't forget about happy hour (both here and along the water at different places). Linda (bartender and caretaker extraordinaire ) made is feel like family. I will definitely book here again.

  Just Perfect! Wouldn't Change a Thing!

  We were so lucky to find this amazing spot! I can't say enough not only about the accommodations but also the entire staff (especially Zamir!). The property always had bikes available for us to use as well as kayaks that the staff willingly helped with. Speaking of the staff, just to give you an idea of their friendly, overly helpful nature, when my speargun wasn't working for a snorkeling trip to the reef one afternoon, one of the workers insisted I borrow theirs. I guess the best way to describe the overall experience was that our entire family was just made to feel special from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. It actually felt we were staying with friends rather than a group of people who worked at a hotel. The food was super and the secluded "jungle" feel from our deck added to the overall experience. It's no surprise that we are returning in March! Bottom line is that you'd be hard pressed to find a place to stay on the Caye that is a better experience at any price! 10++

  Fantastic Experience

  I visited during January 2021 and I had a great experience all-around. The staff was amazing and friendly. I stayed at Tarpon and it was exactly what I was looking for. I'd definitely visit again. Breakfast was pretty good as well.

  Vacation 2021

  My husband and I had waiting for years to get our scuba certification and get a way kid-free! With Belize being open for business during Covid, we decided to go! Belize made it easy with the belizing.com website and all the lines were short and efficient at the airport. Once we arrived at Bella Vista resort, we were treated with the kindest staff. Zamir, Mannor, Linda, and Honor were amazing, very accommodating and took their time to get to know us and provide anything we needed. They were always around and easy to find if we needed them. The food was great, the bed and apartment were very comfortable, the pool was clean, and we felt safe and at home! We will definitely return with our children, as the location is perfect! It is close to town, but removed just enough to be quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle in town. We loved Bella Vista and our new family!
