  Made to feel very welcome

  I was here on a training course near by The bell staff made me feel welcome and relaxed Very helpful. Made my stay so much better Staff helped me with directions and found shorter routers They even made sure I have food while studying

  Nice afternoon drinks in the sun

  Enjoyed a couple of drinks in the sun with my family this afternoon. Ive often drove past the Bell without going in, but seems like a nice place. Good selection of drinks, friendly staff, nice quirky decor. Will have to come back for pizza some time!

  Great French themed pub who do awesome pizzas

  We often drop into the Bell. Its on a quiet country road, bit out of the way, so never too busy. Inside has a bit of a french theme, with old champagne bottles and memorabilia all around, and nice for a quiet drink. In the summer outside is really nice to have a cold drink and pizza and sit at a table overlooking the fields. Their pizzas are awesome. In winter we often get one to takeaway. Their staff are always friendly and courteous, and even now, its one place its always easy to get a table.

  Good

  The rooms were tired and dated and need freshening up however they were clean and fit for purpose. It was very quiet due to Covid 19 but that was beneficial for our stay. Our host was chatty and made us feel very welcome.

  Unfriendly and no beer

  Walked in and walked out. No welcome, rude bar staff, no beer on. Barman had no eye contact and was abrupt. Glorious sunny Sunday, the last weekend before tighter restrictions and before Autumn creeps in. Clearly they don't need the business here. Barman went outside for a fag as we drove off. Customers outside said "You got the same welcome as us then!".
