  Nice stay for a night

  We were just searching for a one night stay in the area around San Jose Airport and found this place to a really nice price. It is in a quiet street but with our navigation system we found it without a problem. The onwer opened the huge fences for us to park - so the parking seems to be pretty safe. The lady who did the check in was really nice! We got a huge room which was basic but fine. (First floor without an elevator - might be a problem for some people). We enjoyed the huge bathroom & shower with wonderful hot water pressure (after some bad experience before), soap and shampoo has been provided as well. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The wifi worked without any issues. We had a fan on the ceiling but no a/c (not a problem as it was not that hot) - it looked like there was one before - some cables in the walls. The room was not beautiful (one queen bed & single bed) but clean. We didn't see much of the surroundings as we arrived late at night and left earlier, we also didn't use the breakfast but as far as I have seen it - for a basic accommodation over night - I can totally recommend the place.We didn't sleep that well as it was pretty windy and loud outside but I can't say if that had anything to do with the hotel.

  Looking for an affordable place near the Airport? Look no further

  Belen suites is exactly that - a quiet, clean, no frills place at a very competitive nightly rate. Free parking is available in front of the hotel. At night, they are closing the yard door, so if you need to leave very early, you may need to wait for a few minutes until somebody will come to open it up for you. The rooms are clean and very spacious and can be occupied with up to three people. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. WiFi is available free of charge, breakfast is not. Many thanks to the lovely Sally for making us feel welcome from the first second.

  Nice little place

  The hotel is quite nice actually. Rooms are big and conformable. It's a quiet and safe place, there is parking for your car, and it's about 10 minutes from the airport. It's great for you if you land in Costa Rica very late one night, and just need a place to stay. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was OK, don't expect the tastiest or biggest serving, it was just fine, not bad. The price is very good. I paid $85 for the night, but the standard price is $75, and you can go as down as $60 if you book your stay via Booking.com Overall it's a pretty little place in which I would gladly stay again.

  Elie Is The Greatest

  Elie, the owner, was by far one of the the sweetest, most caring and most sincere person we have met. The hotel is 7 minutes from airport and is very clean, safe and secure area. I had a cold and Elie , former nurse, went to great lengths to take care of me. Made my trip home bearable. We are going to CR in May and will be booking a night on our way to Liberia. and a night on our way back. This place is a touch of home away from home.

  Al llegar no tenían nuestra reservación y tuvimos que esperar pese al cansancio de un largo viaje, la televisión no funcionaba, el desayuno aparecía incluido y resultó que no pero al Final tuvieron que darlo, no tiene nada especial, ni el rumbo es apto para salir por la noche caminando
