    Decent European Hotel

A clean hotel with limited amenities. Have to remember that the European hotels are not like US hotels. It is very minimalistic. Only one of everything (towel, washcloth, etc). There is no a/c OR heat in the room so there is no way to control the temperature in the room. There is only one blanket so if it gets cold, it can be uncomfortabe. I was there in October so it was warmer in the day and cool at night. I was traveling by myself so the bed was a single bed; not a fullsize or queen, but a single bed. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good and included. There is no fitness center so dont bother bringing workout clothes. It was very noisy during the day with the window open as there is construction nearby. So it was warm, noisy, and it was amplified as you needed the window open to regulate tyhe air temp.

    Relaxing stay

Actually stayed in July 2019. We found Switzerland quite expensive on the whole so had to choose a hotel a bit far out from Zurich. A train line us within walking distance to get into Zurich city centre. The room we found to be a bit hot and there wasn't much in way if cooling. The staff were friendly and helpful. If wanting somewhere reasonably priced and transport close by then this one would be a good choice.

    okay

The room in hotel Belair was okay, but for that price I expected more. I didn't like the shower curtain for example. And it was kind of in the middle of nowhere. So just a fine hotel, but nothing special.
