  Overpriced for a very average hotel

  I stayed with my 2 kids for 1 night. The wall decor was peeling above the bed, the bed sheets were not super white, and in the bathroom, one soap was packed, one was not. We did not had towels for the 3 of us. I stayed there because this hotel had the less bad review for Dreux. Well, this is really a last choice hotel.

  Perfect stop over hotel.

  Very helpful friendly staff. Basic rooms but ok for a one night stop. Lovely location in the market sq with bars and cafe's close by. I would recommend this hotel and will almost certainly stop here again next year.

  Could be better

  Spent two nights. The hotel has an interesting history. The owner was a cleaning lady who managed to buy the hotel. Very welcoming, as all the staff. In the room the shower has no solid coverage, so in winter could get cold showering. Also, my shower thermostat was not working properly. Had to have cold showers. The bed was good, the tv insanely small and dated. I would give 3 stars If it wasn't for the breakfast, where i found that all butter cubes were expired since 2 months. Had an insane stomachache after, and didn't take a second breakfast. If the hotel solves those small issues, would be a good review.

  Very central hotel, in an old house.

  The hotel is old, purple furniture, with TV, without air conditioning and it was a very hot day It's very uncomfortable if you come by car. You don't even have a place where you can leave the care take out the luggage unless you violate traffic laws . Nice view from the room.

  Unplanned overnight stay.

  This little gem is right in the centre of the square and is nothing to really write home about in luxury and speciality but it makes up for that with service and a pleasurable visit. Right from the very first moment, we were made welcome but the lovely, lovely lady that was on hand to welcome us, explain the area, show us where the parking was, offer advice on where to eat and she smiled throughout. It was extremely hot when we stayed so not a pleasant nights sleep really but that was down to climate not comfort. The room was very clean and had everything that we needed for the night. When we went down for breakfast the next morning we were greeted once again and it was that lovely smile, this lady is a little treasure. Everything was offered for a continental breakfast but we were also offered scrambled or fried eggs. Once we were leaving we paid our bill and were walked to the door and wished a good journey. Thank you to the hostess. You made our day xxxxx. Melissa and David
