We were recommended here and so glad that we were. We stayed 2 nights but had to change rooms for the second night. It was no trouble at all. The first room, unfortunately booked for the following night, was large, almost a suite, traditionally decorated and spotlessly clean. The second room was smaller but the we were only going to sleep in it and it was more than adequate. Breakfast was to die for, huge, so much so that we didn't have lunch on either day. Mrs Barron, what a lovely helpful lady and so helpful with info. on places to visit and drink and eat

    Grateful

We did not get to star as Joanne had some pipe issues but she secured other lodging for us so that our trip was not interrupted. Thank you so much Joanne for looking out for us on our stay. Very grateful.

A wonderful step back in time!

A lovely warm & cosy atmosphere, comfortable rooms, a real log fire. All dietary requirements catered for and big breakfasts. We were made very welcome, everyone was so friendly. Beachgrove is a 15 minute walk from the railway station with a regular service also a very good & reasonably priced local taxis.

    Great location and amazing breakfast,

We stayed two nights here and really enjoyed the accommodations, service and staff. The breakfasts were amazing and the staff very helpful and courteous. Carrickfergus where the farm is located is a nice size town and easy to get to. Lots of places to see and eat. The rooms were nice size (most upstairs but there is one downstairs). I do not think it is still a working farm but very beautiful surroundings. Wifi and TV were available. One thing to note they do not take credit cards so bring your pounds with u as the atm fees were pretty high with the currency exchange but it all worked out!
