  Great view from room

  Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Hotel is not new, but is quite well maintained. The private hot spring area is very nice. The nest thing that puts this above the others in the area is the view from the room. From the balcony, we have a great view of the mountain, the river and the old street. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

  Dirty dirty dirty

  I am not sure if all the other reviews are friends of hotel. This is suppose to be a 3 1/2 star hotel. I booked 3 days and was unable to stay in this dirty accomodation. The room was filthy, toilet was leaking all over the floor and the woodwork around windows and door frames were rotten and held together with mouldy silicon. This was worse than a lot of 1 star backpackers accomodation. Dont be miss led by the photos. I think photos have been photo shopped

  Family room

  Didn't disappoint us cos what we saw online is what we get. Love the mountain valley view right from our room. Toilet is huge. The hot tub can cater 4 adults. The cold tub is icy cold. Had a great time soaking in and out hot and cold tub. Standing shower within the toilet. Breakfast very simple nothing to complain but coffee machine serve good coffee. We asked for extra towel but need to pay 100TWD for one.

  Good service , but best is if they can refurbish the hotel

  We had our last 2 nights stayed here to concluded our Taipei's trip a week ago. The staff's service were good and friendly, we changed our room to ground floor room, instead of 1st floor room due to inconvenient for us with kids as need to carry baby stroller up and down due to their hotel didnt provide baby dining chair. A little tips for those who staying with kids, if stay at ground floor, dont take the 101 room due to you will have cigarette's smell strongly whenever someone is smoking out there, even though you are inside the room due to their toilet exhaust fan issue. The hotel can be more pleasant if they do some overall upgrade in the room. For restaurant's options, a bit misleading due to nearby don't have much restaurant options,mostly has already closed down when i walked around there. But it was fine with us as hotel's did provide limited set menu for us to eat there

  So so Onsen Hotel

  The Hotel / resort do not have any lift so those with heavy luggage may seek help from the hotel staff to carry the luggage for you. We had the family quad room. It has a great view of the mountains and Wulai old street. Air is fresh and breakfast is reasonable good. Big Onsen bath tub for 2 or 3 people. With a separate small tub for cold Onsen. However, the hotel need to improve their cleanliness. Found many strands of hair in the Onsen bath tub, beds and floor. Maybe some upgrade or renovation If the rooms will be great as condition of the room and facility is old. Maybe due to the wet and humid condition of the ambient condition. Bedsheet has stain. Have to ask the staff to change the bedsheet upon checked in. Toilet is as big as the room which means the room is rather small. The Onsen water is powerful and filled up the bath tub rather fast. Luggage have to be placed in the toilet. WiFi is not working. Hot water shower is not consistence. The water temp will fluctuate from cold to hot and hot to cold. Staff are rather friendly and help. Hotel provide transport service from Hotel to Wulai old street, Wulai water fall and Nai Dong with a fee. I would say the hotel is reasonably rated.
