  A great place to stay that addresses a wide range of clientele

  The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and responsiveness to all requests and queries. The location is well serviced by public transport. The beach is only a couple of hundred yards away next to the golf course and overlooked by the impressive Mont Orgueil Castle well worth a visit. The hotel has a well maintained garden protected from the wind. The restaurant is well managed and efficient. The english breakfast is flexible providing a varied combination of ingredients. The staff are extremely helpful and easy to engage.

  Comfortable clean but a bit dated

  Booked in for 10 days bed and breakfast. The Hotel is comfortable, spacious and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The decor and the some of the fittings are a bit dated. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We had three evening meals during our stay and these were very good and filling. The car park is suitable for small cars but would have been tricky with something large - we had a hired Fiat 600 and found it suitable for the narrow roads. The bus stop was just down the road and there was an excellent pub/restaurant 2 minutes walk away if you were not eating in. One drawdack could be the lack of a lift if your room was on the 3rd floor. Quiet location and ideal for touring round the island. Excellent holiday.

  Fabulous stay - coeliac friendly

  We visited at the end of August for 3 nights. Yes the hotel and rooms are a little dated but really its spotless and I personally liked the fact it wasnt modern. We would definitely return as we loved the location and the staff were amazing. On the first morning I asked if they had any GF cereal which they hadnt but the next morning the manager had been out and got two boxes of different cereal. How thoughtful. The breakfast was fantastic every morning and my husband and daughter both loved their full English breakfasts. Thank you again to the staff and we will see you again next year. Obrigado.

  Really enjoyable stay.

  We stayed her for one night. This was a present from friends of ours and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean and tidy with friendly and helpful staff. I was very impressed with the dinner that we had. They have a nice choice of red and white wines at very reasonable prices. The breakfast this morning was faultless. The rooms are fine but are looking a little dated and the TV screen in the room could do with being bigger. The indoor swimming pool is fine but be careful as the tiles around the pool are very slippery! I enjoyed the Sauna and Jacuzzi though the swimming pool could have been a bit warmer! This is a very well-run hotel but it is starting to look a little tired.

  Good hotel in quiet location

  We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel at the beginning of our 12 night trip to Jersey. The hotel was warm and comfortable with friendly staff, although the room was quite small with a tiny T.V it was very clean and cosy with good shower and water pressure. The breakfast each morning was hot and tasty, served at your table. The location was perfect for a walk to Gorey to see the castle and really close to the Pembroke pub for drinks and a meal. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing break.
