Wonderful stay made perfect by our host

We decided to visit Kent in order to visit the gardens of Sissinghurst and Great Dixter. We could not have chosen better, both for location and friendly attentive service by our hostess Julie. Nothing was too much trouble. We had advised Julie that we were both diabetic and were welcomed by tea served with home made sugar free scones and jam. Being of a certain age we found the French bed a bit low. Abracadabra! On our return from dinner the bed had been raised. Julie was a mine of local information, each night we were directed to charming local restaurants, where the food was excellent. The house and gardens are beautiful, we feel sure you will not be disappointed. We stayed for three nights. We must conclude by letting you know how good the breakfast was. Even the bread is artisan baked by a friend of our host. Everything is freshly cooked to order. Definitely a five star but and b.

We took a short break to visit Sissinghurst gardens , Rye and Great Dexter . We stayed at beautiful Beacon Hall house where Julie looked after us beautifully. The house and home is really lovely and the stay very comfortable with a lovely breakfast. We would certainly go back and if you want to stay in a lovely B and B with loads to do around this is your place . The grounds to this home are big and spacious. A great stay !

    Wonderful place to stay

Everything was perfect. The room was beautiful with fresh flowers, homemade shortbread, a great shower, luxury products, tea and coffee, robes, soft towels - I could go on and on. Food was fantastic. Fresh fruit at breakfast, fresh homemade bread and jams, cooked breakfast cooked to perfection. We had the privilege of having dinner on the first night which was beautifully cooked and delicious. Julie is the most lovely host you could imagine. The pool was a pleasure we hadn't thought we would have the weather to use! We cannot recommend this place highly enough. Visitors should remember, however, that it is not a hotel. You are staying in someone's house. It is important to treat a stay as if staying with friends.

Wonderful stay and fine foot in a haven of peace

Booked a three day break to visit Sissinghurst and surroundings. Lovely house in peaceful location. Beautiful room with high quality linens. Julie and Jonathan are warm, welcoming hosts. A health issue cheerfully and sensitivity accommodated. Extensive breakfast made with fresh, local ingredients and a delicious evening meal. Can't wait to go back!

    Wow!

I booked the luxury room as a 2 night break for my husband's 50th birthday. I'd read wonderful reviews about the place and of Julie, our host. We loved the accommodation, the grounds and attention to detail that Julie puts into every aspect of Beacon Hall. The double aspect room we had looked out on to the garden. Fresh flowers on the dressing table, luxury bed linen and the biggest ensuite with roll top bath and walk-in shower we've ever seen. Breakfast! The dining room holds a large table set out with traditional crockery and linens. From homemade granola with yogurt, fresh fruit, (this morning was poached pears in elderflower), to bread baked locally and lovely, cooked to order Full English. An added extra today were fresh fig topped fruit muffins, baked this morning. I don't think we've ever stayed anywhere as good as this and cannot recommend it enough. Julie, you are a star. We will be back.
