  Had to check out early

  Had a horrible time. There was a lizard in my room and hopped on my bed. Then the service is very poor. Breakfast was promised to be included but when I go up at 8 am there was no food out and the few workers didnt even acknowledge my presence.

  Far from almost all inclusive

  I chose this resort as it was in a great location. I paid the extra for the almost all inclusive and was told by sunwing that would include your 3 meals a day along with all your drinks. I have never stayed at a resort were if you werent the first one in line when food was put out you may not get anything! They never replenished any of the food. They used small little plates so if you were lucky enough to get some food you couldnt take too much. They had no condiments other than ketchup. No mustard no relish no pickles , nothing! The first couple of days they had French salad dressing for the little bit of salad you may get but come the end didnt see any salad dressing either. They had different cocktails posted around the bar when we first arrived however they had no alcohol to make any of these drinks. There was literally 5 bottles of booze in the bar so they painted over the drinks so dont expect frozen drinks. The pool was closed for treatment when we arrived but it looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months. We werent planning on spending time in the pool however it ended up being quiet windy and the ocean was very rough wouldve been nice to have the pool to go into those days. The staff was amazing i feel bad for them as they have nothing to work with. I have stayed at 3 star resorts in Cuba that had more food and drink! Rooms were big but in desperate need of updating. When we arrived our bedding was dirty! That is not acceptable! If you do go to this resort make sure to bring bug spray! We were covered in bites from head to toe by the end of the week! There are some great places in Negril, this is not one of them!

  Quiet Getaway at Charming Little Hotel

  Just returned from a week stay at the Beachcomber Hotel. This place is great and the staff is very sweet. The owner Dominique, her daughter Bianca and all of the staff really do go out of their way to make your stay as great as possible! A small little boutique hotel right on the beach that offers a nice option away from the bigger all inclusive resorts. The hotel is very low key, so if you're looking for a quiet getaway in a clean and charming room, this is the place. I had the opportunity to stay in a few rooms during my visit and I can say they were all great, each with a unique bedding and curtain decor, the bed frames have four wooden posts, clean sheets, A/C, hot water and fresh towels daily (including face and hand towels)! You have options to either hang out on the beach catching some rays during the day, have a drink by the bar, or an evening cocktail on your very own patio by your room before or after dinner. All inclusive offers a convenient option, but you can also go out to explore the many food and snack options at one of the local bars or restaurants along the 7 mile beach. Everything is walkable. Highly recommend the Beachcomber Hotel and will definitely stay here again. :)

  Only one word to describe Awesome!

  My Husband and I had the absolute pleasure of going to the Beachcomber for the first time this year and we will be going back! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean with hot water every day! The beach in Negril is the best and the Beachcomber is in a perfect spot that is clean and not crowded. Dominique was an excellent host to her guests and always made sure her guests were happy, she even took my husband to town to look for limes! I would recommend this location looking for a well deserved vacation to chill out and relax!

  Yearly Family Visit to Beachcomber

  My family has been staying at Beachcomber Club for over 15 years. The villas are very spacious with central family room, master bedroom and optional second bedroom with eat-in kitchen, washer/dryer and dining area. The outside verandas are totally covered so you have plenty of space to enjoy outside during rain storms (and the pool-bar is a covered walk away). The units have eat-in kitchens which we use a lot or the buffet is freshly cooked for each meal. There is no better view or beach sand anywhere compared to this setting. There is an outside friendly bar area setup with tables for kids and adults to share the afternoon. Beachcomber is not a huge resort, its a quiet and quaint place to relax on the beach, and have cocktails at night. The management is very personal and family friendly, you will feel very safe in a clean environment. A typical day is early wake up, jog up/down the beach, have outside breakfast at the water, swim with the kids, visit the banana lady with freshly picked fruit and hang out with other guests until sunset.
