  Great Location Fantastic Stay

  Stayed in a 1 bedroom apt, it was basic but comfortable.It had everything u needed to cook. Kerseea di a great job keeping the place clean on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays The beach across the street is OK but is very rocky and can be dangerous if the sea is rough There are 3 cheap places to eat nearby Nancys Bar Mr. Vics and Karibu the other close place are expensive These is Paynes Bay Fish Market across the street where u can the catches of the Day.

  Not the best!

  Booked for 8 nights during March 2017. Location wise these apartments are ideal. Just a short bus ride to nearby Holetown, Speightstown and Bridgetown. Lovely local beaches and a small number of local eateries and bars. The accommodation leaves a lot to be desired. We had booked the most expensive type of apartment with a supposed ocean view. We were given a ground floor apartment with a view of a fence front and rear. Outside was very tatty with a lot of unnecessary mess lying about. Inside we were shocked to find a cooker that was clearly dangerous with wires exposed on the control panel making the oven useless. A broken socket in the bedroom also had wires exposed. The shower was next to useless - very low water pressure with a broken wall hook meaning I had to hold the shower to use it. Air conditioning very poor and was charged extra for. No hot water in the kitchen and the pipe had actually been disconnected under the sink. There were very few knives and forks. Two mugs 3 plates. Overall not comfortable living. The cleaner came once and paid lip service to the cleaning spending at least ten minutes there. Attempts were made to contact the owner without success. Thankfully it was just me and a mate and we made do. I would not recommend this apartment in its current state.

  Stayed here numerous times lovly homely place wonderful owners would live here if we could beach over road easily get to places as bus stops nearby Payne's Bay place to be owners Geoffrey and Dawn wonderful hosts housekeeping staff very good

  Vacation

  Great stay and Jeffery the host was most gracious. Just across the street from the beach. Excellent views of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. The room was large, with huge windows and doors. Quite breezy and there was no need for AC.

  Payne's Bay Home away from Home

  We totally enjoyed our home away from home. We stayed in 9A which can sleep up to 6 people. Loved the open concept of the kitchen/dining/livingroom/ balcony areas which all had the amazing ocean & sunset views. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with including a microwave, stove, full size fridge, coffee maker, pots & pans & place settings for at least six people. There were lots of places to eat out all within walking distance so we ended up going out most suppers & some lunches but cooked our morning breakfast every day. The huge sliding door to the balcony along with the kitchen windows that opened allowed for a very nice breeze going thru the apartment & therefore did not use the AC much at all. I was very skeptical of the open windows as I tend to be a mosquito magnet but didn't get one bite. The lovely, very sweet Jane would clean our place every second day which was perfect. I also loved the fact that they had free washing machines & plenty of clothes lines for drying your clothes which usually took about an hour to dry. The beach across the road from the apartment was calm, blue & very inviting. We spent most mornings there. The location was central with both Fitts Village & Holetown a quick bus ride away. Thank you so very much Jeoffrey, Gale, Judy, momma & sweet Jane for making our stay most enjoyable.
