  Great Stay

  Stayed here for the TROY race .Room was clean and friendly service,close to beach ,boardwalk and restaurants..Street Fair right in front of hotel with food and music could sit on balcony and enjoy.People in other rooms were also very friendly.Will be back this year again for the races.

  Our favorite

  We love the beach terrace! My family and I stay here every summer at the end of June, and Sherri and other staff are great! My son Jayden loves talking with Sherri every morning about our day. Super close to the boardwalk, and attractions.. and big rooms! We wouldnt stay anywhere else.

  Never going back!

  Just checked out Aug 9th, No covid rules in place and dirty! No one wearing masks in elevators, rooms were filthy and always smelled like weed. Overcrowded in the pool with screaming kids till I called the front desk at 11 pm. The elevator was never cleaned the entire time we were there. License plates from Florida, Pennsylvania and DC which were not supposed to be allowed. Never again for us!!

  Not handicapped friendly

  I was supposed to stay here this past weekend. When I arrived to check in I asked again if the room was handicapped accessible and they said it wasnt. Thats not what they said when I booked the room. I went to the room to see if I could make it work for me I couldnt it was not feasible. So I had to find another hotel at the last minute. Plus only one elevator was working.

  Almost Made A HUGE Mistake...

  ... by not taking this motel. I just came back from a great weekend at Beach Terrace Motor Inn. I was VERY close to passing on this motel, because the most recent reviews made it seem like I was entering into a dirty, filthy, weed-smoked rat hole. Instead, I took a leap of faith, grabbing a 3-bed room. I entered into a lobby that was small, but tranquil. The receptionist had my key ready in no time at all, and 6 floors later I was in my room. I gave my room a walk-through, making sure I sprayed everything down with disinfectant, as well as wiping down anything me or my family were going to touch. To my happiness, my room was perfectly clean. There were no weed-filled hallways, no people not observing social distancings, and bypassing masks. Two days later I checked, having thoroughly enjoyed my stay. PROS: Clean. Awesome Location (1 full block from the boardwalk. 1.5 blocks to Moorey's Pier.) Nice-Sized Rooms CONS: Only one working elevator, which made you had to wait forever for one to come. Only one person at the desk. The motel is too big to only have one person. The receptionist doesn't speak upon your entrance. I stayed in Ocean City a month ago and the front desk was better-staffed and they spoke EVERY TIME they saw you. A couple of the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were hanging. C'mon, this an easy fix, and something guests should never see. Despite my CONS seeming numerous, it didn't cause me to remove any more than one star from the overall review. I would definitely stay here again. If they just tweaked a few things, this would be a five-star motel.
