Great location but extremely poor service by some individuals and watch out for the massage swindleWe stayed in BC Spa Dalyan for 3 nights and was disappointed that the manager did not say hello back when I greeted him during our check-in probably because he was having a bad day unlike Ibrahim (night receptionist) who was brilliant and always very happy and engaging with the guests. The manager gave us an awful room which was later changed to a very nice 1st floor room with a double and a single bed. Thanks for this and the much improved communications after. The other massive disappointment was the massage from Muslum and another where we were given 43mins of massage instead of our fully paid 60 mins. I mentioned this to the spa manager Aysun on departure from the spa which was ignored. Great customer swindle service! Why would anyone pay for a 60min massage and get a quarter of the time and no discount by 25%. The spa pool was also very cold and jacuzzi too. My advise is dont visit the spa as the massage itself was also poor. Muslum the masseur also tried to sell me a boat trip on our first morning (200 lire when local boat trips are at around 65 lire) at breakfast and then decided that we had booked it on the second day when we said we will decide on it. He ten tried to increase the pressure by stating the other 6 people cannot go as they need 10 people in the boat. The hotel is in a great location and generally very clean with nice average size rooms and bathrooms. There are 2 swimming pools and the location next to the river is ideal. The breakfast was awful and the worse I have had in a 4 star hotel as agreed by other guests with the same each day; boiled eggs, Turkish spring rolls, white bread only, 3 types of cheeses, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, luncheon meat and melons. Basically no hot food and a zero rated hotel would have given you a better breakfast and service. What makes the experience worse are the long queues because the poor serving waiter have to work extra hard to put all the above on each dish individually. Hence the 10-20 mins wait. I have given a one star rating because of all the above, no hot water at nights, even worse the water pressure increases and decreases causing the shower head to fall off depending on usage in the other rooms, WiFi that rarely works for BCSPAHOTEL and BCSPA does not work at all (should not happen in a 4 star) and the massage swindle. There are better hotels with great service in Dalyan but few that are located next to the waters edge.

HolidayFor 3yrs we tried to get into BCSpa but due to work commitments it was always fully booked. Now I wish I hadnt bothered. We arrived in the early hours and duly filled in the trace form, got to our room and was given the key. We decided the next day to have a relaxing morning by the pool, there was no cushions on the sun Eds or any chairs and when we asked for some at reception was told we couldnt have any due to Covid???? We sat for 15 minutes and had to move as it was really uncomfortable without the cushions. We found that every other hotel in Dalyan had them on sun beds and seats. Also at night it was very dark around our room area and the light above our door wasnt working, after asking for it to be replaced 5times to 3 different receptionists its still not been changed. so we have to use our phone torch to see the lock on the door so that we can get in the room. The majority of staff dont speak to you unless you greet them first, they look miserable most of the time. The room lights are very low wattage and dull. SO to sum up....would we come here again?? Do we recommend BCSPA??? NO CHANCE AND NEVER AGAIN

Not impressedArrived late evening and only one person available, took us to a duplex room which was tiny, very hot & stuffy with steep stairs to the bedroom. Asked to change to a standard double as we were very tired which they managed. Fully understand difficulties with covid but breakfast was a disaster having to queue for ages & the choices very limited. We didn't have a hot shower for 5 days despite complaining, no sunbed cushions, pool towels were like old rags which were torn or had holes in. Cleaning around the pool areas & rooms also not good with old towels, glasses & crockery lying around for several days. Pool music was thumping disco music despite the average age being over 50!Eventually our friends and us moved to a nearby place which was much cleaner & welcoming. We had to cancel our booking via booking.com before they would accept our cancellation & insisted we pay for the duplex despite us staying in standard double. Tried to discuss the deal but they were most unhelpful. Vety disappointed & would definitely not recommend this place.

Needs major improvementsWe have stayed many times in Turkey and love the traditional type of hotels, So we booked this hotel expecting a charming stress free hotel. We arrived into our room which had a dirty floor, I asked the cleaner to come in and clean the floor and the bathroom needed a good clean, the shower screen had previous guests soap scum residue and the loo seat (well I wont go further). The rooms are quite basic and not really bright. There is a empty fridge in your room and we would buy our water from the local shop to put in but we were stopped by hotel reception and asked what we had in our clear plastic bag. Of a evening the lighting is very poor and we would recommend taking a torch. The breakfast was really dire in so much for the remainder of our holiday, we tended to eat out and considering we paid for B&B this was a waste of money. Also be careful as the marble floors around the dining and seating area were always wet and very slippy, we did bring this to the attention of the dining staff as we were concerned someone could slip hurting themselves, but the staff were not concerned and it remained like this every day. Sitting around the pool and restaurant there was no soft seating other than to sit on hard wooden slats they said it was due to covid however other hotels and restaurants in the area that we passed and ate in had comfortable and washable seat covers. Guests even took to purchasing their own lilos to use on their sun beds. Social distancing at times in the reception left a lot to be desired and were not told to wait outside or step away. Your bill is in Turkish and not English and when you ask if they can kindly convert to English, so you can check your bill, they say no unfortunately we cant but we can read it out to you, which I think is not very pc or efficient and on two occasions they charged us for items we did not have ( you do not get a copy of your order at restaurant or bar). I would keep a tab on what you have and pay your bill each morning. some of the staff (only some) are lovely and chat with you others ignore you not even a smile back. They have plenty of cats and kittens around the hotel and we would buy cat biscuits from main supermarkets as they were hungry, there is also a lovely huge dog chained up outside on the car park, we also bought him dog biscuits which he devoured quickly. The bar, no chance of social distancing and was really noisy. that's why we ate and drank most nights off site. Positives: Close to Town and excellent restaurants and bars near by with a small shop 5 mins walk, the walk along the front of the hotel is lovely and relaxing although some stones are broken and missing so recommend walking in day so you can at least see them. would we return to Dalyan ? in a heartbeat, but to another hotel not this one, never again sadly.
