  Paper thin walls, good breakfast

  It was simply a stopping off point on a long haul. The woman who greeted us at reception was also there for early breakfast, kind and friendly. Breakfast was surprisingly good and varied. Towels were clean as were beds. Toilet and shower are downstairs, not an easy trip at night! Shower needs bleach, floors need a deep clean, especially in corners. We could hear EVERYTHING in the rooms next to us; this, along with the downstairs bathroom makes this motel less-than-ideal.

  City bus

  we booked this due to a shortage of hotels near CDG, the only price near the airport was 400 - 700 euros(even this was 90 euros). The conformation email said to take the pink line at the airport that actually takes you to the B&B hotel at the airport not the one 12 km away. We wasted a lot of time trying to get to the hotel as a cab was 40 euros? we asked shuttle drivers, airport info and strangers and no one knew that there was a local city bus for 2 euros. I figured this out only when I looked for a return option from Saint Weiz and even then we ended up at the wrong stop until a local told us we needed the one across the street. Knowing this option, now makes this hotel a great choice, the problem is a real lack of information. As for the hotel , it's a self check in after hours, no frills but clean and the bed was actually cozy. I mentioned to the office personnel the next morning about the shuttle email being incorrect and he said he knew but didn't seem to care. So the bus at the airport is where the shuttle buses are and the stop in saint weiz is 800 meters from the hotel, so backpacking is easy, luggage on the other hand may pose an issue as its about a 10 minute walk.   Basic and clean

  Room was very clean, with a nice fresh smell when you opened the door Set on 2 floors, bathroom and toilet ground floor with the sleeping area up a steep set of stairs, Not much room at the top between the edge of the bed and top of the stairs, made me a nervous wreck with the children. Towels were provided. No tea or coffee making facilities. Opposite McDonald's ( doesn't open until 9.30am) and good selection of food establishments across the road. We ate at buffalo grill and were extremely pleased with the food and service. The room got very hot in the night, but you could only open a full door to let air in rather than a small window. The air con blew out warm air in cold mode. We used the hotel to go to parc asterix, I would stay in saint witz again but not necessarily this hotel and that is only because of the stairs.

  Good stop over location

  We stayed here for a night on our way to Disneyland Paris. Its around 2.5hr trip from eurotunnel with a further 45min trip to Disney. We arrived after the 3pm check in time (probably 3.30), checked in via the machine outside reception. We went round to our room to find the cleaner still mid clean! I have to say that spray and chemicals used were over powering and we needed to open the window to help ventilate the room. One of the downsides to this hotel is that the area around the hotel seems to be a stopping point for lorry drivers, running their cabs, so we had the noise of them to contend with, thankfully they didnt run too late. We stayed in this room as a family of 4. The arrangement is a little strange, but it worked. The toilet and shower are downstairs and there is a good size hall area, where we left our luggage. Then upstairs is a king size bed and bunk beds. The bunks are quite high, my youngest found the top too high. The bed was really comfy, which was a bonus for budget hotels. Location is good, just off the A1. Although be aware its past the final toll if you are driving South down the A1 but when you enter to go south again you have to pay 0.80 to enter. There are a number of restaurants nearby, buffalo grill, a more upmarket restaurant as well as a McDonalds, all within walking distance. We also drove into the next town, which was only a short drive. There did seem to be quite a bit of renovation work going on at the hotel, but this didnt disturb us. The hotel also advertises a secure gated car park, yet when we went to check at reception how to exit the next day as we wanted to leave early he said the gates dont work!

  Stay far away from this place. The worst hotel and worst service we have ever seen

  after seeing the room condition we gave notice and checked out after the first night. Broken air conditioner, cracked, leaking toilet with sewer water under the tiles that seeped up when you walked on them. We had to always wear shoes when going into the bathroom. Insects and spiders in the room coming in through a half inch gap between the door and frame. A filthy shower curtain hung from a broken rod and did little to keep water in the shower area. There were never any staff on site just an automated system for which we did not have the correct number at first. No one made any attempt to speak english or to get an english speaking staff member. It did look like they were addressing the insect issue as there was an exterminator truck parked near the entrance when we came back from supper. A terrible, filthy property and not a good start to our vacation, in fact we were so discusted with france in general that we decided to change all our plans and leave the country in the morning.
