The worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

My sister is UIBE student and the location of this hotel was the only reason I choose B&B inn. Otherwise, just save up your money and pick other hotel as well. - The room was small. - Bed was hard and gave me back pain. - No condiments, like free water, in the room. - No drawer to store things. - Somebody doing service at 7 in the morning, knocking the damn wall with a hammer - The bathroom glass door sounded like they were going to crack at anytime. I have to say that this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. For RMB 300, some hotels at diff locations provide better service.

    Extra little charges

I recently dyed my hair, and some of the color washed out(China water is a bit harsh), and so the towel was stained red. My roommate liked to use the small towels to wipe off her makeup(mineral based). Now, any normal hotel with white towels would be smart enough to bleach it out. I mean that is why they have white towels. But not this hotel. First off, because I had stained the towel, they refused to change my towel for a new one even after a week of using it. So I asked for a new one. They told me because they couldn't get the stain out of the towel, I had to pay a fee so that they could send it out to get cleaned. However, stated that they weren't going to charge me for the big towel and would only charge me for the small one. Side note: I accidentally fell onto their lamp shade and it broke because it was paper thin. That cost 50 rmb. However, the total amount I paid was 110 rmb. I thought nothing of it until I realized that I never used the small towel to dry my hair. A few days passed and I decided to get my own room. At that time, I had nice clean towels and everything seemed fine. But the following day, I came back to see that they had given me a dirty small towel!!! With makeup on it. I stared at it and remembered that my old roommate had used this towel. DISGUSTING!!! I asked the downstairs why they gave me that towel. They replied by saying that was the towel they charged me for to get cleaned. These people assumed that because I stained the big towel that I also stained the small one, except for the fact that the small one , IF THEY HAD TRIED TO WASH IT OUT, was not even stained at all. They didn't even try to wash it out. They assumed it was a stain and made me pay for the towel I didn't use. Naturally, I brought it up to their attention and told my old roommate. My old roommate took the towel and ran it under water. It washed out in two minutes. Mineral based makeup doesn't stain.... She showed them the towel and these people didn't even apologize, they just smiled and said they would give me my money back. Here the strange part. I paid 110 rmb. 50 for the lamp shade and 30 for the one towel... Where did the other 30 go?? I still don't know nor did I want to deal with it after everything that happened. Oh and get this, they want the towel I used to dry my hair NOW so that I don't make any more stains on it.... Do these people realize that if you bleach it once... It's ALL gone??? No, because they are freaking idiots. So long story short, they charged me for a towel that they assumed I "stained" with makeup. Because they thought I did it. They gave me that dirty towel nicely folded on my towel rack. (Side note: Usually, to tell the maids you want a new towel, you just leave the towel on the floor. I did this and they tucked the "stained" towel under the sink and didn't give me a new towel.) It kind of makes you think.. Do they give people dirty towels from other rooms? Do they bleach their sheets for sanitation purposes? Hmm...

I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it...

I stayed here while I was studying at UIBE for a summer camp, fortunately accommodation was included otherwise I wouldn't have been happy! The hotel is quite noisy, the rooms are very basic (and bathrooms have glass doors which is awkward when you have a roommate you only just met), and breakfast wasn't great at all. I saw a cockroach on the floor of the dining room one day. None of the staff were especially friendly and they don't really speak English at all. I got by with rudimentary Chinese but if you don't speak any at all you might struggle. The location is good if you will be spending the majority of your time at UIBE, as it's just across the road, and there are plenty of places nearby to eat and drink. However, the subway is quite far away and the lines served by it close pretty early at night. You might also have to climb the gates of the university on the way home at night! If you're going to Beijing as a tourist, don't go here!

Good location but the room is small

the room is tiny, quite clean but small. Hotel is near to the bus stations and UIBE by cross the street, it's convenience, has many Chinese restaurant nearby and it takes 5 mins walk to the nearest subway. Overall is fine except sometime the place is too noisy and receptionists are not very nice.
