  Not for dinner!

  We booked for 4 nights, on arrival staff were rather sharp,no problem, room view lovely aircon ok, we ate dinner at the restaurant as we were to tired to go out after seeing the flashy menu in the foyer we thought not a bad option. Big mistake the dining room opens 7 8.30 we arrived 8pm, to old smorgasbord food not refreshed at all. Then rushed to order I asked for the menu they said no menu choice was fish or chicken. We chose the fish**** 3 measly little fish nuggets things tasteless. On leaving found out our meals were 35euro each. Worst meal in our 4 weeks travelling! Plenty of good food over the road and certainly in the old quarter.

  Super hotel!

  A very nice hotel, everything is new, friendly staff, very good food, 5-star service, the pool is very clean, close to the sea, quiet! the price is ok compared to what you find in this resort! recommend with confidence!

  A thoroughly enjoyable stay

  I was one of a group of 175 staying here for a week. I couldn't fault the hotel at all. The hotel was spotlessly clean, our room and en suite bathroom was very clean and comfortable. All linens clean, crisp and changed regularly. The restaurant was exceptional, to serve approximately 90 covers of fish perfectly cooked takes a good chef and kitchen staff. Well done! I was served quality, well cooked and well presented food and wine all week. All staff were polite, friendly, attentive and responsive. The swimming pool and outdoor seating area was well maintained and clean. Overall a very positive experience. Recommend highly and would certainly visit if in area again

  Disaster, hotel couldn't cope with our large party

  Unfortunately our stay at this hotel was a disaster. Although the hotel decor is lovely, its all frills and no substance. We were disappointed to be allocated a tiny single occupancy room. Other single guests in our party had been given larger rooms. The room was so small, I had to store my clothes on the floor as the only place to keep our two suitcases was on top of the wardrobe! Only one person could stand by the bed so we had to take turns getting into the wardrobe, safe and fridge. Bar prices were at least double local bars and restaurants. Coffee £4 Coke £4 Cocktails £12 The bathroom was tiny and we had to sit sideways on the loo. These was no shelving for toiletries. The restaurant service and food was terrible. The staff worked really hard but where clearly understaffed, harassed and poorly organised. I saw no restaurant manager. The food was often cold.. It took nearly an hour each night to be served wine with our meal. Breakfast wasnt any better with the smallest selection of breakfast items Ive ever seen. No fresh fruit or variation on the week. We were a party of 170 dancers and the hotel clearly couldnt cope with this number of guests and the food was done on the cheap. Even on the final night when it was supposed to be a masqued ball the food was the same and there was no specialness about the evening. This was my first visit to Italy and I was so disappointed by this hotel so I would not recommend this place for large parties.
