  Great Hotel

  This is a clean, basic no-frills Hotel. Big car park, good wifi, and not expensive. Nice restaurant next door (photo) also with 30 min free wi-fi. By the way, you can get a 15% discount voucher at reception. Oh and there are loads of shops nearby and around the corner - oh and a bowling alley.

  A great stopover

  I stopped here for a night travelling through. A really clean and friendly place and they allow pets for a small charge (unlike similar places in the UK). Id stay with this chain of hotels again. There is no kettle in the room and the windows dont cut the noise out very well, but these things arent a major problem. The air con was a relief in the heat.

  Overnight stop

  Good hotel 20 min walk from a typical Normandy town. It was a Saturday evening and found a couple of bars open. The hotel did not have the usual secure parking but the area looks fairly safe. The rooms are a good size and have good shower and toilet facilities. However if you want a good night's sleep before a long drive, this may not be the place for you. The extractor fan in the loo run all night at High noise level. Sleeping was difficult. We may have been unlucky but in general the hotel is ideally situated.

  Second visit

  As I said before, do not let the exterior of this place put you off. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The Court Paille restaurant next door (Separate review) is only a few steps away. I cannot commend this B and B more and I have to say it is head and shoulders above the other one we stayed in, indeed there is no comparison

  Excellent for an overnight stop

  The hotel was easy to find and there is plenty of parking which is free. The hotel is located on a retail park and so there are amenities close by such as restaurants, supermarkets, petrol etc.There is a 15% discount for hotel guests at the Courte Paille restaurant next door. The person on reception was pleasant and helpful. You are given a personal code which works for keypads on the main entrance and your room. The wifi code is the same which makes things easy. The room and bathroom are spacious, clean and comfortable. There are blackout curtains and the hotel was very quiet and I slept very well. The only thing which was lacking for me was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room but there is a drinks and snack machine in reception and a microwave for reheating. Breakfast was copious. The coffee was good and the pastries were fresh. The eggs and bacon were tasty but rather cold. I paid about 70 euros which included breakfast which I thought was good value for money and I would recommend this hotel and I would try others in the chain
