Family rooms for four are excellentOur first visit and what a pleasant surprise! Two adults and two teenage children fit in the room easily; the children had the mezzanine floor. Although the bath room was small. It was ok and the shower was hot and powerful. Highly recommended and we have already booked a return visit.

No frills - OK as a 1 night stop overOut of town on a bit of an industrial estate. Reception was closed when we arrived and so we needed the booking confirmation to get our room details. You key in the confirmation code and it gives you a room number and access code to the room. Room is small but OK. No kettle but has a TV. You can get hot or cold drinks and snacks from the reception area. No evening meals so you have to go out. We walked about 5 - 10 minutes and found a restaurant called La Boucherie. Not bad food in there. Breakfast wasn't the best but at least you can get something before you start the day. Bacon and scrambled egg (not the nicest), croissants, toast, yoghurt, cereals and coffee are available. It does as a 1 night stop over place but I wouldn't like to think I was there more than 1 night.

Stopover to AlpsIdeal location en route to French Alps. Good room layout for family of four. Unfortunately, the reception was closed when we arrived but managed to negotiate the automated check in easily enough. Extra pillows would have been welcome in the room. Did the job for a one night stopover.

Stayed at far better for the same prIf you are looking for good value stick to the Campanile hotels. At 110 euros a night I was expecting a bit more then a compact room with the smallest bathroom I have ever seen. The soundproofing of the room is poor I could hear people coming and going from their rooms. The breakfast should be avoided. There are around 74 rooms which means there could be easily over 150 guests but only 26 spaces for breakfast in their dining area. We woke early to get there for the opening of breakfast and over half of the tables had already gone. Breakfast selection is very basic. Location is probably the reason most stay here as very close to the main routes. I would however advise you to push through to Beaune where there is a nice Novotel.

Compact roomStopped overnight on the way to the Alps. Check in was fine and painless. The room is snug especially for 4 people. Bathroom is tiny. 2 pillows would have been better but it was only a stop over. We were recommended a restaurant across the road but we declined and drove into Troyes instead and found a perfectly adequate restaurant. The room was clean, with clean towels, adequate hot water and comfy beds. However the room was hot and stuffy and stiflingly hot in the mezzane. The Aircon was totally useless. For the money and length of stay cannot really complain.
