  Terribly scruffy and dirty cheap dump

  I had the misfortune to stay here recently whilst on business in the area, the hotel was booked by a business associate and pre paid so I was stuck here. Firstly, the rooms. Mine was boiling hot for the first two nights (no matter what I did with the heating controls it stayed on) and freezing cold for the third night. There was mould in the shower and most of the fixtures were loose. The bed is THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE I've ever slept on. It's very noisy being a motel style build with nasty open corridors and filthy dirty stairwells, I've seen cleaner subways. Open the window and you are guaranteed not to get any sleep. The breakfast is a joke, no idea how much extra it was as I didn't pay but sitting on some nasty little stools in a draughty reception with a bit of scabby bread isn't my idea of breakfast. Basically it's a cheap dump, one small step up from what looks like a cheaper dump of an F1 next door but it's dirty, noisy and never again for me.

  Want a pillow or a hot drink? Forget it.

  We are staying in the B&B St Nazaire right now. It's clean and very basic, which is what we knew we'd get. However, we can't get into the closed reception to get a drink and when we asked earlier for an extra pillow, we were told they had none - the receptionist looked like she was lying because she didn't want to give us one. We don't expect much from such a cheap stopover hotel but we do expect a bit of common courtesy and the facility to get a drink. Awful.

  A convenient hotel when you just need to sleep on the way.

  The hotel is located in a commercial area, not far from a main road (so avoid to sleep with the window open). Rooms are OK, clean and rather comfortable for an affordable price. The lady at the desk was not really kind or helpful, she was just waiting for the end of the day...

  Basic but adequate

  A typical B&B in an unexciting location: but it was possible to walk to a couple of restaurants for supper. in honesty, nothing particularly good or bad as B&B Hotels go. Very easy to drive from here to the dock attractions. We walked, but the walk is unappealing and we wouldn't recommend it. The staff were helpful.
