  Basic but clean; OK for a cheap overnight stop

  An hour or so from Calais and OK for a single, cheap, overnight stop, but no more. The desk is only staffed for a short time but there is an automated entrance so it would not be a problem arriving late, as long as you receive the e-mail with the entrance code in good time ours only arrived the day before. The room was clean but small hardly any space to get around the double bed. Good bedside lights and sockets for charging phones, etc. A thin duvet and one tiny soft pillow for each person. A small, thin, towel each. Bring your own soap; the soap dispenser in the shower was empty. Breakfast was very basic continental (with many long-life components). The scrambled eggs were made in a batch in the microwave. Nothing really wrong with the hotel as long as you accept it for what it is - basic and cheap

  Excellent value for money.

  Excellent hotel close to the motorway en route to Calais. Very clean and comfortable, offering good value for money. Close to several restaurants but the nearest and best is the Crocodile which is only just up the road and where hotel customers receive a 10% discount.

  Excellent place

  Excellent value rooms are clean and basic No tea or coffee making facilities in room but Do have TV in room Beds are comfortable and in a very quiet location And restaurants just a short walk away breakfast is too say poor! But you get what you pay for Would I go Back YES its clean and comfortable

  Stop Over

  An excellent hotel for a nights stop on our way to the Alps for a skiing trip. Late at night reception is unmanned and you gain access by internet supplied code. Buttons on access keypad have to be pressed HARD to make it work. Otherwise system works well. Hotel is clean but basic.

  Great location & concept, but filthy

  The rooms were a satisifactory size and the hotel is in a good location. But the rooms were filthy!! The shower had black mold in the shower and the tiles had not been washed for some time. There was dust on the headboard and most surfaces. It appeared that the bed was made with clean linens but we going to bed, there were hair pins under the sheets.
