  You get what is on the label

  Having looked at reviews of other hotels I chose this one. Received confirmation on line but when I got to automatic book in (reception closed at various times) couldn't get in. Silly Me I was at the Aeroport, my hotel was across the road. Book in simple and effective, with the print out you can't forget your room number or door code. It is a budget hotel. Simple effective and with a couple of nice staff. Little English spoken but we got by. Breakfast was as good as any at a budget hotel. We were happy enough.

  Nice hotel with good price

  Hello I was there few times. The hotel is a very cheap. But inside is very clean. Very close is a some restaurants (Baffaulo Grill, Mc Donalds and ohter) and Shopping mall. I take room at this hotel when I go to delegation to France. The manager is very nice. Room is very clean. I take room there in the future.

  UNPLEASANT MAN ON RECEPTION ... PEU ACCEUILLANT MONSIEUR GRINCHEUX!

  The large notice in French on the reception says "Bienvenue chez vous" which could translate as "Welcome home". The B & B literature stresses "friendly staff with a smile on their face, there to help... a quality welcome is a priority". UTTER RUBBISH ...COMPLETEMENT FAUX was the experience of my wife on I on checking in at the B & B hotel at Deols, near Chateauroux The oldish man on reception (and I speak fluent French) was unfriendly, disinterested and initially claimed that there was no reservation (I prebooked online and I showed him the paperwork). Also a completely unwelcoming attitude and this man would not try to make small talk even though he did not appear busy. He just gave the key number but no advice as to floor, the number nor where to walk to gain access. Later he was rude when I queried only finding one towel - his response "just look all over the room" and yes he was correct, there was one hidden in a corner outside the bathroom but politeness was very lacking. When I simply asked if Wifi was available in the hotel - the reply was that he was only on reception and I should not ask him any other questions. GOOD POINTS: comfortable bed, clean, good shower, friendly cleaning lady next morning, reasonable breakfast, free parking next to hotel. There are eating places within a short walking distance but beware of opening times. NOT GOOD POINTS: Awful rude male receptionist on arrival, loose shower plate in bathroom, cooked breakfast food at 08h10 not very warm, the woman on reception spent much time speaking to another (staff?) person in the dining area - obviously not her job to consider who should wipe down the breakfast tables from crumbs, coffee stains etc. The room was not very large but for a budget hotel, perhaps not unexpected. Not uncommon but heard noise from people in the corridor near to our room. Single pillows, and towels of just enough drying quality for one shower My wife and I have stayed in numerous B & B hotels in the past in France but this was the WORST experience of any B & B hotel - mainly due to the grumpy unwelcoming man on reception. I am willing to accept that all of us perhaps can have bad days - but sorry I cannot overlook this experience. B & B management hopefully might take note that politeness and a friendly attitude are very important if they wish to retain customers who in turn (such as now) go on to repeat their hotel stay to other travellers!

  Usual B&B facilities and appears to have been well cleaned but avoid the takeaway breakfast

  With rising Covid numbers. Hotel appeared clean and usual B&B facilities including use of a microwave in reception but no kettle in rooms The breakfast buffet is no more due to covid, for the same price a takeaway breakfast bag is offered. No screen was used for this breakfast servery. The breakfast was disapointing we use B&B because of their previously very good breakfast the takeaway lacked the following items which we expected from prior trips, milk, natural yoghurt, pastries, choice of bread, plate (paper would have been fine), cold meat, bacon, eggs, fresh fruit, green/herbal tea. Coffee and cheese ration were very small.
