  The owners Jo and Chris are extremely friendly and welcoming. Carol, their new employee is just a sweetheart. She will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs. This B n B overlooks the bay, however our room didnt so we asked to be moved. Carol and Chris were very accommodating but the room we got had a shared bathroom. Luckily we never saw the other couple. Lol. The bed was adequate with a fan above the bed. The breakfast was poached eggs on an English muffin which my husband liked but I was hoping for a sweet bun or something with my coffee (I cant do eggs and bacon in the morning!) my morning walk was lovely. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

  Beauty and perfection!

  We loved our stay at the Bayview Pines Country Inn. Plan to arrive earlier in the day so as to enjoy this scenic, peaceful local. Most rooms have a view of the bay, however because of our last minute booking our room was a little more "tucked away." However it was so cute and cozy we were still very pleased. The breakfast was hearty and delicious! I highly recommend this B&B.

  Vacation

  Exactly what we were looking for. Peace, quiet and relaxation. We got it all and more. We stayed in The Loft for 8 nights, gorgeous space, extremely clean and cared with love. The king size bed was supper comfy! The ocean view was exquisite from the deck, sunrise in the morning and sunset at night. Deer on the property roaming around. We got to have breakfast one morning which was cooked by Chris and served with much love by Joanne. It was served with great presentation and was well enjoyed for our anniversary. It was interesting to learn about the history of the property and we got to meet some beautiful people from all over the world. Joanne & Chris were like meeting family you havent seen in a long time. They constantly showed joy, knowledge of the area, excitement for the towns activities and more. You could tell that they love what they do and were more than happy to assist with anything in any way!! They are a lovely couple and we will remember our stay for years to come and hopefully, will be able to return again soon. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!! The Gambles

  We'd like to go back.

  Joanna and Chris were our wonderful hosts at this beautiful property. We stayed in the Suite #4 the First Mate that was in a 200 year old barn converted to rooms that consisted of a large bedroom area complete with a huge dresser, comfy bed and a big window overlooking Mahone Bay. There was a sitting room/TV room 2 steps from bedroom with a large balcony complete with chairs and a great view. There was even a crib board and cards in the common area! We had a delicious breakfast and interesting conversation about the area with our gracious hosts in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back again!

  A beautiful located Country Inn

  We spent a lovely three nights at Bayview Pines Inn/B&B, (in the Captains Room #5, on the second floor), in the end of September. The rooms are located in a separate building, across the driveway from the main building/home/dining area. Two of the sides of the Inn, overlook the water, making for some lovely views. The room was clean and nicely decorated with some interesting antique pieces. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet and looked out onto a porch, and the bay beyond. Had the weather been warmer, it would have been nice to sit and relax on the porch with a glass of wine. There was a small refrigerator on the 2nd floor landing area that we were able to use. The Inn is located up, off a long gravel/sand driveway, so it was not right on the street, albeit it was a quiet street. Breakfasts were very nicely done and filling. We also enjoyed the small resident dog, Harriet, who loves playing with tennis balls, and is very good-natured and quite a character. (She is limited to the area in the back and side garden of the main home and thus cannot come into the other building where the guest rooms are located.) We greatly appreciated the quick email response from Joanna, who was very flexible in our original plan of arriving late. Many thanks to Joanna and Chris for your lovely hospitality.
