  This place in nasty

  There was hair in the bed, no lampshades, dark parking lot with overgrown bushes between the room and the parking lot. The room was only half renovated and absolutely trashy. I have stayed in a few hotels in Paris and never received this type of treatment. Holiday Inn express was great.

  Not up to Baymont Standards

  The floors, towels, washrags and linens were very dirty/stained. No evidence of any special cleaning due to Covid. I was too exhausted to find another place, and had already paid so I stayed. I hope Baymont sends a representative to investigate.

  I was 0 for 2 picking hotels on this Texas trip

  It takes 2 days of driving for us to get to South Padre Island from our home. We usually go with a lower priced no frills hotel since we only use it to catch some sleep between driving days. This place is old and not maintained well at all. The room numbers were broken off the doors so it was a guess to find the correct room. The beds seemed clean as well as the linoleum floor but when I tried to turn on the lamp between the beds, my fingers were covered in dust. One bed was broken and had been duct taped back together. The hair dryer was broken and not all the light fixtures had bulbs. The room smelled of smoke although was supposedly a non-smoking room. The other guests seemed sketchy to me. Some were conducting some kind of business from the trunks of their cars. I really wonder if Wyndham has any idea of the general condition of this property. Ive stayed in Baymont hotels in the past and they were never like this. Im sorry to say this but this place is a dump.

  Not pleased

  The property had trash piles everywhere on the property and the overall property was not the cleanest and a lot of animals everywhere poop and all.Wow!Sad place use to very clean and nice people stayed there.And management was tolally rude explain the situation about my friends cold and they just didnt care

  Disgusting living circumstances, shocking service

  Due to snow storm, we had to leave our home. Manager's very rude and greedy; He would not give a discount when needing to extend becuse of frozen pipes despite weekly rates posted on sign. There are drug deals all day with shady people coming and going at all hours. Complete lack of internal communication as I was woke up by an ego filled kid who's supposed to be the manager asking why we haven't left yet despite extending the night before. As a manager, you don't forcefully knock on a clients door who's paid you questioning why they are there. Its very evident, and confirmed his father's owning of the drug infested hotel entitles him to be disrespectful to those whose pay his paycheck. [What, if any training, teaches you to blare chaotic rap music while you re cleaning your property? None. Room was filthy and was not even cleaned prior to taking money. No extra help was hired to accommodate customary needs with the national emergency because of greed leaving extremely limited family staff disabled to qualify them ripping people off. I was questioned why I needed extra towels to clean/dry my service animals due to the weather. Who do these people think they are? Once again, no regard nor professionalism. The dumpster trash was overfilling with trash all over ground nearby. Laundry was rigged to need 3x as much $ to do 1 load. Overall, this was a very appauling experience and Karma will manifest. No one/business/ideology shall ever infringe on Our Unalienable God-given rights. If you stayed because of the storm, there are many grants out there to recoup the $ you wasted here. This was the only hotel available for us at the time in the middle of the night. Thus, avaibility was the priority. Please read all reviews so you are fully informed on what you will be getting for your energy/$. Bottom line is they will not have a company much longer conducting business like this. Would have taken many more pictures knowing how this would turn out.
