  A great landing after a long 2 days

  My wife & I traveled from Merrill WI to Albany KY in 2 days on our motorcycle, all back roads no interstates no tolls. We arrived at the Albany location after back to back 400+ mile days tired and sunburned. The host that checked us in not only gave us all the info we needed to get s bite to eat. And let me park the bike by the lobby entry way. Then we get upstairs to our room, and I can see the bike outside our room. She deserves a raise! Excellent location rooms are perfect. Beds unbelievably comfortable. Highly recommended.

  pricey, but it's your best option

  not much else in the vicinity of albany, so I'd recommend this place. I got a good night's sleep, it's quiet and safe, the front-desk help was great. i was a little disappointed in the price. but i was overtired and needed rest desperately. i've stayed at baymont's before and they seem to run about $40 cheaper. the breakfast was very good. i'd recommend this place

  Baymont Albany KY - July 4th weekend 2020

  Baymont probably is the only hotel near Grider Hills Marina that is not extremely nasty. Baymont is a very basic hotel but clean enough for a boating weekend. No elevator so try to get a 1st floor. Our room had the following issues but again nothing better around this area. Smoke detector was hanging from ceiling by the wires. Curtain ends were broken so sun come in so get ready to get up early. Small refrigerator was off when we come in so had to let it cool down which took quite sometime. Room kind of stunk but guess sensory adaptation kicked in after 10 min. or so until you come back in. Room AC works good. Breakfast is provided but really is not very good. Biscuits were good, gravy was so runny it looked like water and other than that just some bagels, cereal, yogurt to grab and waffles you could make. Just up the road you can grab a much better breakfast but to be honest there really is no real good food in the immediate area. There is a 24/7 Junction restaurant/gas station but food not all that great there as well but will get you by. I think price is a little high as this is a $65 - $80 a night hotel at best. They really need to do something about the waffle maker as we observed two kids get their hand burnt in the matter of 15 min setting at our breakfast.

  Do not stay here

  Stayed here August 8, 2020 the first room we were given smelled like an ashtray. We asked for another room and were given one. They double billed my credit card and then refuse to reimburse you for the extra charge!!! I have called them several times and just get the run around.

  My Lake Cumberland visit

  Check in process was slower that it should have been. The room was clean and the mattresses were very comfortable. The location was excellent for us as we were visiting Marina Rowena, which is a very, very nice marina.
