  Kind of noisy. Breakfast was cold. Bed was comfortable. Driveway to hotel was a disaster. Bathroom was extremely small. Front desk person was helpful and friendly. Price was decent for what you get. Ok overall

  Disappointing

  Not a great area of Appleton. Hotel is in dire need of renovations & upgrades. At a minimum the carpets should be washed or better yet replaced. Plus side, they have adjoining rooms but doors were painted shut so maintenance was called to get them open.

  One word: Wow

  When we first arrived, we were confused how to even get to the hotel. After turning around several times, we turned off navigation and decided to turn in to the LA Quinta next door. After driving past Applebee's and Texas Roadhouse we parked at the run down hotel and checked our tires due to the potholes littered through the parking lots. OK, whatever, we thought. Front desk clerk was nice. So that's a place. We walk to our room to get settled and rest before dinner after our 7 hour drive. The hallways smell like febreezed Marijuana use covered up additionally by lysol. And it was humid (inside) to boot. We use the door key and all seems fine. But, the door was stuck. I had to use all my might to hip-bump the door open. Luckily, I have good childbearing hips and was able to enter the room. We turn the air on, it works. Great! Eventually we wanted ice. My husband finds out the ice machine doesn't work. Clerk says we can go to the roadway, but I really didn't feel like getting stabbed over ice, because the Roadway looked worse than this hotel. Caulk around the outside of the shower looked like something you'd see on Hoarders after a bathroom had been left unkempt for a decade or more. We couldn't keep cold drinks because the fridge didn't work and also couldn't keep any leftovers from any of our meals. So that sucked. The putt putt next door was fun. The bed was comfortable. We didn't try the breakfast, because Appleton has some great diners! I paid way too much for my stay and won't be back. I'll definitely spend more money to stay downtown in Appleton the next time we come for a Packers game. The nightlife in Appleton is a blast!

  Not scary but not good

  This place was barely acceptable. Run down, hard to find, lousy breakfast, unengaged staff. For the same price, there are much better options but most places had no vacancies. I now know why this was still available. I am not a picky traveller but this place didn't meet my pretty low bar.

  I think you should stop and stay here!

  I have never stayed here before. I was surprised about the place when I first walked in. The lobby is very updated and looks inviting. A younger GENTLEMAN and very polite checked me in...very welcoming! THEY HAVE BREAKFAST.....a FULL BREAKFAST!!!!!! Good coffee 24 hours. The rooms - very modern furniture, work station is comfortable, clean and comfortable rooms! Beds seem new and VERY comfortable. Comfortable lounge chair in the room. Big TV in the room. Room rates - REASONABLE!!!! Cheaper than a Days Inn, just down the road. I WILL stay here AGAIN when in the area!
