  Nice mini vacation

  We had a wonderful time, bag boy was amazingly helpful, front desk was friendly, and the view was spectacular! The mattresses could be a little better and more handicap parking, seeing that I travel with a disabled veteran. We could never get a handicap spot.

  Christmas Visit 2020

  We had a great Christmas visit even though it was during the 2020 quarantine. The resort was probably only at about 10% occupancy which was great. We felt safe. Nearly everyone wore masks. We never shared an elevator and I've never been on a faster elevator in my life. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The condo could not have been better. We rented a one bedroom on the 10th floor. It was plenty big for the two of us and I think it would be spacious enough for an additional 2 or 3 kids. It was very clean and the decor was nice. The shower had excellent water pressure and the tub was a spacious whirlpool. The water was always hot. The kitchen was small, but had all the basic necessities. The resort has some units that are pet-friendly. The pools, hot tubs and lazy river looked fantastic. It was in the high 50's and several people used them since they were heated. The only negative we found was that the property has new owners and they did not honor our reservation on the penthouse level that we made 3 months earlier. The clerk told us we would have needed to reserve a specific unit, not just a floor for them to honor our request. She said that she could not change our floor since she already entered us in the computer to a unit on the 10th floor (rather than the 18th), even though we were still in the lobby. We discovered that some of the units are corporate owned and others are privately owned and managed by different rental companies, so we assume she put us in a corporate owned unit to help the new hotel owners rather than a private owner. Next time we will check things out better, but we were still happy with what we got and doubt the view would have been much different another 8 stories higher. We did not try the hotel restaurant, but had a drink at the bar and really liked it. We found Rapone's, a wonderful restaurant not too far away, that had delicious pasta dishes and wood-fired pizza, a small bar, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We look forward to going there the next time we come. We will stay at the Bay Watch again. It was a very good value for the money. It was a perfect winter get-away and I'm betting a great place in the summer once COVID-19 is gone and social distancing isn't an issue.

  Great staff, nice rooms and perfect location

  This is our first year at BayWatch, have been a few different places in NMB, but well satisfied here and went ahead booked for next year. We booked with Dawn through Elliot Realty, site unseen and just trusted her opinion , completely satisfied, she is great! There are a few different management companies that book the condos, depends on what one you like. If you can, see the condo in person. We had unit 337 and it was very nice, my husband liked the recliners, 3 bedroom. We are switching to a different condo next year, only because we wanted a 2 bedroom and end unit. All the people that I saw that work here are very welcoming and do their jobs very well, plus friendly. I felt very safe taking my dog out in the evening because it was well lit around the property, and security is around for a limited time. The property is kept very clean inside and out. This is a review for January and February, and I am sure the employees have their work cut out for them in the summer. Great amenities, pools, gym, cafe and bar downstairs with good food and wonderful, friendly bartenders! Kudos to these employees that I met and talked to on a daily basis that are so friendly, customer oriented, and do their job well.   Great place to stay!!

  Ive been to Myrtle beach for years and never stayed here. Its a great resort! Lots to do (pools, lazy river, hot tubs) and clean. Elevators are fast. We will be back during the summer; next time well bring the kids ;)

  Beware of credit checks?!

  We booked a unit at this resort, paid for it online in advance, then were sent a text a few hours prior to arrival from a third party company in Portland, OR asking us to call them for verification purposes, or the reservation would be cancelled. We called the hotel directly to confirm this text. They confirmed the text and said that since the credit card was reserved and paid for online, they needed a verification and we had to call the company. We called and they asked us for personal information, such as birth date, prior addresses,etc. It felt like they were doing a credit check. Since when do you need to give your birth date and other personal information to book a hotel? We immediately cancelled our reservation and booked with a major chain hotel online (no verification needed). The good news is that they refunded our credit card a few days later.
